Great content, but update looses airplay
Love the content, have been watching since it’s launch. But the newest update seems to have stopped working with airplay when I’ve previously had no problems at all :(
Access issues on Apple TV
The content is great. It looks fine on the phone or on my iPad but I can’t get access to the Apple TV version of the app. I get stuck trying to sign in - none of the options work. Changing my password doesn’t work. Sending an email to support gets no reply. Three stars for the content I’ll give it more if I could access it on the TV.
And no, sadly I can’t watch it via AirPlay either.

I've sent three emails to customer support over the last few weeks and they do not respond. This is probably a sign of a dieing service. And they're not responding here as well.

Login to AppleTV not working
Content in WaterBear is good, and able to access it from the web and from iOS but will not work at all on AppleTV.
Doesn't work on Apple TV
Login simply doesn't work on Apple TV, says the same login I use to sign in on web is incorrect.
Unable to log in to tvOS (AppleTV) app
I can log in to the iOS and web site with no issues, but the same credentials create an error in the tvOS version

Love this, totally a 5⭐️. It gets 4 because I’m frustrated trying to login to the Apple TV app which won’t allow login even after changing p/w (which was correct in the first few attempts and worked with web). Let’s get this planet sorted.
Brilliant idea
There are so many amazing documentaries to watch, covering a great range of topics and many worthy causes. I love being able to filter them by length for when I’m short on time but still want to watch something interesting, engrossing and inspiring. A truly great concept in a really well designed app. Since discovering Water Bear it’s become one of my favourites and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Chrome cast casting problem
Cannot get the app to cast to chrome cast. Please fix!
Log in is broken
After updating I can no longer log in on the app although login with Safari on the same computer and login on AppleTV works. All the same credentials. No error message. It simpley doesn't work.
The app is not working since the last update.
Since the last update I can’t log in. When I tipe in all my acc nam and password and press the log in nothing happen….
Doesn’t work anymore
I can’t login I can’t change my password every time it still doesn’t work I’ve given up on the app. App used to work great then it quit. Not sure what’s wrong.
No proper subtitles/CC
As much as this app is a breath of fresh air, I’m incredibly disappointed by the fact there are no proper subtitles/closed captioning other than autogenerated ones.
For myself, I have ADHD and so subtitles help with the intake of information, but when they’re not correct it’s incredibly off-putting and frustrating. On top of that, imagine what it’s like for those who are hard of hearing not being able to access content correctly. It’s actually quite terrible for something like this to have not been thought about as standard. I would have expected this app to have been way more accessible.
Whilst I understand this is still a fairly new streaming service (and free) and provides some amazing content - the lack of accessibility is somewhat damaging to a good portion of users.
On top of that… still waiting for some more casting/streaming options 🥲

Bait and switch
Downloaded this app because I though there would be good shows on the natural wonders of the world. But I’m reality it is just a bunch of propaganda shows promoting a far left agenda with nothing but doom and gloom. Greta Thunberg is promoted on the platform if that tells you anything. There is a reason why it’s free, no one would pay money for the garbage they produce. Don’t download it!

Casting issues
I have never been more excited about an app. Especially since they just released Racing Extinction… unfortunately I’m an apple phone user with a roommate who has chromecast and I’m having issues with that. We have an Apple TV unit with a broken remote so my only solution is to use the Google chromecast but the app doesnt work with it. I’m super bummed but would love to see this issue resolved!
