What's New in WattMate

2.0.3

July 10, 2026

2.0.3 - European Portuguese, Spanish, Norwegian Bokmål, Dutch, French, and German are now available as app languages in Settings. - System Default is now the default app language setting: WattMate follows your primary device language when it is supported and falls back to English otherwise. - WattMate now shows a one-time "What's new" popup after app updates so you can see release highlights and fixes directly in the app. - Sessions now opens with the latest charging session expanded even when Sessions is your start screen. - After saving a new charging session, the new session stays expanded and the previous card closes. 2.0.2 - Charging sessions can now include optional notes for location or trip context; cards show when a note exists, and notes are included in CSV exports. - Opening Add Session or Add Vehicle from the swipeable main tabs no longer hits the duplicate floating-button transition error. - Opening Sessions no longer hits a startup state error when session data is already cached. - Battery health now appears correctly for older or smaller-battery EVs when their charging history supports a valid estimate. - Changing Start Screen, Theme, and other Settings preferences no longer kicks you back out of Settings; your selected start screen still applies the next time you sign in or relaunch the app. 2.0.1 - Choose your default start screen in Settings and open straight into Garage or Sessions after launch and sign-in. - Swipe between Garage, Sessions, and Settings with smoother animated tab switching. - Session cards are easier to read, with clearer energy and SOC presentation. - Info popups on stat cards now use a cleaner, more polished in-app dialog. - Battery capacity and charging-loss popups now respect the vehicle's selected distance unit (km or mi). - Premium users no longer briefly see Subscribe and Restore actions while subscription status is loading. - Session history gaps are handled more clearly, with visible warnings and safer trip stats when history is incomplete.
