Not working

App does not work. This app is basically just a big waste of server space on the App Store.

Won’t let me sign in

I want to sign into my account, but the button doesn’t do anything. It just sits there in the loading screen forever. If this resolved itself, or the mods fix it, I will rewrite my review.

FAQ

What does WatZatSong do?

WatZatSong is a community platform where users can get help identifying songs. If you have a tune stuck in your head that you can't name, you can post it (by humming, singing, or recording) and other community members will try to identify it for you. It's designed to be effective when algorithmic music identification apps fail.

How does WatZatSong identify songs?

The app relies on its community of music fans to identify songs. Users can upload audio snippets of songs they've heard, hummed, or sung. Other members then use their music knowledge to name the tune. It's a collaborative, human-powered approach to music identification.

Is WatZatSong free to use?

The app is free to download and use. However, it does offer in-app purchases, which may enhance the user experience or provide additional features. Specific details on what these purchases entail are not provided in the description.

Who is WatZatSong for?

This app is ideal for anyone who loves music and enjoys music quizzes or games like 'name that tune.' It's particularly useful for individuals who struggle to identify songs through conventional algorithmic apps and want to leverage the collective knowledge of a music-loving community.

What if algorithmic music identifiers don't work for my song?

When apps like Shazam or SoundHound can't identify a song, WatZatSong is presented as your 'only hope.' The community's collective music knowledge is designed to solve these more challenging identification cases, making it a valuable tool for obscure or difficult-to-recognize tunes.
