Obsolete!? (Updated)
I’m very happy that our hardware is not obsolete and we can continue to use the new app. We absolutely love our devices and find them invaluable in our apartment in Europe where there is no mechanical air circulation.

Yesterday I would have given my units and hub 5 stars, but today the app notified me that the 2900 series app is obsolete and will not be updated. Luckily consumer law in the EU allows for 2 years, so, sadly my units are going back for reimbursement. In addition there are no upgraded consumer units on the market that I can find. I am evaluating other manufacturers.

Hi there! It's possible there might be some confusion we'd like to clarify - you can download and use the new Airthings app available on the App Store if you have other Airthings Wave products with the following serial numbers: Wave Mini (SN 2920), Wave Plus (SN 2930), and Wave Radon Gen 2 (SN 2950). The new Airthings app supports these Wave monitors, Airthings View monitors and Airthings Hub. It's only Wave Gen 1 users with serial numbers starting with 2900 that should continue to use the Wave Gen 1 app and it will still be available for these users. If you have a Hub in your setup, it's also unlikely you have a Wave Gen 1 monitor since they are not compatible with Airthings Hub devices. Please reach out to us at support@airthings.com and we'll be happy to help you further!

Accuracy in Question !!
I think the app struggles with how to display information in a user friendly format. There are too screens to view basic data and the graphs are quite small when trying to view hourly data information.
When the 7 day device calibration was complete, I started to get the highest radon levels ever on the 8th day. Out of curiosity I put the device outside for several hours and the levels never changed. That’s when I knew the device was junk. I returned it immediately and got my money back. I should have read these app reviews first vs product reviews.
