Excellent Tool for Coastal Analysis
As a GIS professional who develops beach safety applications, I appreciate the level of detail and visualization Wavemaps provides. The high-resolution nearshore forecasts, swell analysis, and 3D mapping offer valuable insight into coastal conditions that goes well beyond a typical surf app. It has quickly become one of my go-to tools for understanding wave behavior and supporting coastal decision-making. Highly recommended.

Just finding this app from a Instagram post. This is really amazing data. The layout and options are high level. Great work!
Not there yet
Seems early in functionality to start charging for pro version. Half the rendered satellite images are incomplete/cropped (literally half the rendered image is a black block). Hard limit on generating images for 6 locations. I upgraded to the pro, was able to generate 6 spots and have been looking at “Cannot generate more than 6 spots per day, try again tomorrow” for the last 3 days. This is the kinda stuff you gotta dial in before you start taking people’s money. Cool idea, half baked.

Cámaras
Muy buena app en mi opinión le está comiendo los dulces o tiene el potencial de comerle los dulces a Surfline y muchas otras apps de forecast. Lo único que me “entristece” es que quitaron las cámaras (al menos el mini view que tenía). Creo que deberían dejarlo integrado en el servicio gratuito, balanceando así lo que ofrece la app en comparación con otras. Porque aquí no se puede ver el forecast semanal ni cámaras cómo en otras apps (por ej surfline) que si tienen cámaras pero con ads. Que esa es otra cosa que creo que sería buena incluir apps de negocios locales de PR.
