Great experience but…
We haven’t seen any updates. Headphones EQ compensation could be added
No support for Tidal or Spotify or IOS audio
I'd like to listen to Tidal and general IOS audio using this app. It doesn't work with these apps though so it's useless to me. That's s shame
Erro de username
Não tem spotify e o soundcloud da error de nome de usuário logo após o aplicativo fecha automaticamente. Nada funciona!
Bruh
It’s not letting me login into soundcloud
Abandoned
Waves nx is a good product… if it worked on iOS. I’d like to see this app revived and all other nx plugins ported to auv3.
As it stands, Apple Music and SoundCloud simply do not work, probably since waves are using an old sdk which has since been deprecated.

Auv3 please!

Free & WO WUP

Love it but needs streaming services
Oh how I would love to use this app more. I do a lot of listening to Spotify and they have stopped support. I believe it’s probably more of a Spotify problem but if enough people request maybe it can get done. I’d gladly pay for the app if it can include this feature.

Years Later, Still No Support for Tidal or Apple Music
The concerns of the review posted years prior still have not been addressed. Fun and interesting way to cross reference between the Waves NX plugin and 360 system, but still no support for any streaming service other than Spotify. This app could go far if was adapted to meet the needs of users.
Headphone list?
I love using the tracker with the Abbey Road Studio 3 plugin on my MacBook. It allows me to select my headphone type from a list to match them. This would be a 5 star review if you can add this feature. Would also love to see AUV3 support, or at least inter app audio. Otherwise a great app.
Sounds great!
I use this exclusively with my music library, and it works well. Like other reviewers, I wish it had a built in browser to listen to YouTube & other non-premium streaming services. But for me, working with my music library is most important, so I give this app 4 stars.
Barely works
The head tracker doesn’t remember the orientation of your head for longer than a second so moving your head doesn’t do very much. The app also fails to play Spotify playlists. There is also a considerable amount of noise in the sound as compared to playing directly from Spotify. There are also randomly glitches in the audio like squeaks and pops.

Lame
It won’t let me sign into Spotify
Too bad it’s EOL.
This is a very good spatializer. You must measure your head and enter the distances in the settings for best results. Too bad the devs have ended development of this app.
Outstanding. Excellent transparency and coherence.
With most music mastered for speakers, a lot of music just doesn’t translate as well. Waves NX the emulation of natural room reflections and crossfeed, you get true spatial positioning.
Testing on Focal Utopia to Etymotic ER4SR to Bose.
The app has some great touches including be able to adjust the sound of the effect which you’ll end up adjusting to taste. Want a more relaxed sound? Add some room ambience and depth.
Aside from a few ui niggles, most of the features are well thought out and smooth.
Waves has been a staple in the audio industry and it so cool to have this great FREE gift from them.
Btw - you can very much enjoy this without the headtracking but having used it, I’d say it is worth it.

Sounds good but..........
Ok. Tried this with normal cans (DT990 - no tracker). On the IOS library it sounds great but hang on a minute. Waves are renowned for there audio plugins. I’m a customer and have a fair few. Some are superb. Now if there is any place I can think of where making cans sound like speakers in a room would be an absolute godsend it would be on an IOS device. But this doesn’t seem to get that love from Waves. No AU. No IAA. Doesn’t appear on Audiobus and you can’t just switch it on to run in the background. Now waves may argue that this goes beyond the remit of a free app. Fair enough. I would jump at a reasonable in app purchase which allowed it to work with, say, GarageBand. You dipped your toe in the iOS world with some basic Cubasis in app purchases, so why not?
C’mon Waves. This could have a seriously useful and unique place in the mobile recording world. Music production is your business and this doesn’t fit. When I’m not in my multi million dollar mastering suite I’m probably on Concorde (?) en route to NYC I could use this with GarageBand and some cans. But I’m not Mick Jagger and Concorde doesn’t fly. I kind of think this doesn’t at the moment either.
Any chance?
