Love!

I love doing driving tours and I enjoyed this one so much! I grew up in Modesto and it was so sweet to tour my former home in this way. I loved the interviews and exploring places that I remember and that I didn’t know about!

Thank you!

This app was so helpful! My family and I were visiting malibu after helping my brother move into L.A.. We had no idea where to go and how to do it and the suggestions the tour gave us were amazing! The Getty villa was my favorite stop, the art and history displayed there is impressive! My favorite part was the architecture itself.

To eat we went to the Neptunes Net! I loved the clam chowder! And everything for a good price! I would definitely go again.

The app itself was easy to use, my parents have a hard time with new technology or apps but they seemed to be at ease the whole time, especially because we could take all the time we wanted!

Almond Blossom Cruise

Took this cruise through beautiful almond orchards as far as you could see. Also learned a lot about the rest of Modesto. Very welcoming town. Well done!

Almond Blossom Tour

The tour was great but we had a slight glitch when we were halfway through. The app skipped to the final stop even though the GPS was fine. I followed the suggestion to manually select the next point. It eventually followed us and we were back on track. The narration was great addition to a scenic drive.

Yolo tour and a fun day!

Today was a Birthday Celebration for my sister and we had a great time on the YOLO, Farms and …tour. The narration along the way was entertaining and educational. While it took us a bit longer than the two hours, we stopped at a couple of place and enjoyed ourselves. The tour was a bargain in entertainment $$ and having the ability to stop when and where we wanted was convenient. Thank you Ric for your assistance when requested and for the fun!!!
PS those of us that have went on the tour have spent time in YOLO since kids attended UCD, but we never ventured like we did today. If you’re doing a college visit, take the tour for greater assessments in decision-making.

Navigation is flawed

We downloaded the Almond Blossom Cruise and set out, only to be sent into a spiral of nonsensical loops near Modesto Junior College east campus. There was no clarity on where we were headed, though it turned out to be a donut shop reached by going the way we’d originally started (no roadwork in the way).

I’d hoped for something more like museum self-guided audio tours, where you trigger narration as you reach a waypoint. Instead, you have to have it on continuously—with music that can’t be turned off.

We gave up, wrote off the $14.99, and used the downloadable map from Visit Modesto. The almond orchards themselves are impressive.

Such a fun idea!

I wasn’t sure what to expect of taking a self guided tour, but I was pleasantly surprised! The app was easy to use and the directions were really simple to follow 😌
All of the fun facts and stories kept my friends and I quite entertained!!
Even though the tour we took was around 2 hours long, stopping at their recommended waypoints turned one tour into a whole day adventure!🏃🏽‍♂️We will definitely be checking out another tour soon!

The Hollywood tour was awesome!

I totally recommend this tour for anyone she likes to adventure the big city. For our family, 2 kids and 2 adults, it was literally less than one tenth of the price of the TMZ tour.

Amazing

My grandson used this app to go to his friends birthday party in Las Vegas.

Terrible.

Map does not work. Tried everything to make it work. App loses your location. Stupid. Would like a refund. Help section not active.
Useless.

Know the World!!!

Experience this!!

Malibu Tour

The Malibu Tour is a fun, fascinating and funny tour. It’s a unique and exciting way to spend a day in Malibu.

I was skeptical

I’m never one for guided tours when I travel. I like finding my own way. BUT! I was very pleasantly surprised by the Malibu tour. It was thoroughly enjoyable, legitimately interesting, and unexpectedly funny. The app was easy to use, and the tour was thoughtfully written and well-narrated. Looking forward to trying some of the other tours on our next trip.

Malibu

We had difficult adjusting to the synchronization of our driving and the talk because the tape starts in the very busy streets of Santa Monica! The first three sites were frustratingly not worth all our trouble.
The jokes are not funny.
The music you have no option to turn off is irritating.
Sorry to post a bad review but it’s not well done.

Great touring app and easy setup

I was able to create an account in seconds and get going. What a great way to enjoy your drive and learn along the way. Highly recommended!

I want my $ back

The app doesn’t work. It keeps rerouting me and say 1 mile to the starting point, when I get to the starting point it say 30 miles away? Disappointed

Irritating

Didn’t like us going off route to shorten tour or see sights we were interested in. Felt too much like a big advertisement for local shops.

Almond Blossom Cruise

We downloaded the app and bought the cruise. Near waypoint 4, the app announced a Detour and sent us through several miles of beautiful almond orchards, to Wamble Road, then north, taking us into Oakdale. Next, to SR 108 and 10 miles east to historic Knight’s Ferry. From there, west along SR 108 to Orange Blossom Road and east along that road to end up at Knight’s Ferry again, where the app directed us to go west on SR 108, again. After nearly 4 hours on the tour, we felt we were on an endless Detour, but we had no more time available, so we quit an went home.

We enjoyed the day and the scenery, but the app was of little help.

Unlike GPS route guidance, the app gave us no sense of certainty that we were approaching or at a waypoint, street, or turn, or whether we were actually on or off of the tour route. The narrator talked, but that narrative seemed to be linked only to some of the waypoints. We would have preferred having a route map and listening to individual commentaries, keyed to waypoints, that we could call up when we wanted them.

Our 1st and definitely not our last Pod-tour (Almond Blossom)

We didn’t know what to expect , but this was just an awesome family Saturday. We started the podcast as instructed, and just enjoyed the narration, the history/factoids, stops for food, recreation , etc. Yes it’s “touristy”, and perhaps there are more authentically local places, but we are tourists from the Bay Area 😁; and for a low-key day trip to Modesto/Oakdale, this was great! Easy to navigate, clear app.

Engaging and exciting!

I’ve been hearing about this app. I am so excited to have it downloaded and ready to give it a go. I love how you can save the tours and listen back on them. Can not wait for my 1st tour!
