About
Waytxt turns street signs, menus, and printed notices into bilingual cards on your iPhone.
Capture a still with the camera or import from Photos. Frame the line, correct the wording, record an optional voice note, and file a plate that keeps the original next to an English rendering. Cards stay on this device. Export writes a still to Photos when you want a copy outside the app.
Inks are a consumable balance for filing a card. Capture, Library, crop, text, and Preview stay available without Inks. Bar and Split looks need Inks; Stack stays available. There is no public feed and no Waytxt account server in this version.

Plates now keep the original wording next to the English line — on Preview, Cards, and Export. On Cards, type a few letters to find a plate filed on this iPhone. Each card also shows how long ago it was filed. Copy the wording from a card when you need it. Make Card still uses 1 Ink. Capture, Library, and Preview stay free.
