利用者人口増加が課題
みんなで情報を持ち寄って進化していくタイプのナビアプリで、わたしの所属するコミュニティでも話題になってます。がしかし、ユーザー数が少ない=情報量と鮮度が課題です。いい情報があるところもあるのですが、なかなか広がらないですね。また、CarPlayで使うことが多いのですが、CarPlayだとまた更に課題山積です。CarPlayでの利用中に地図の拡大縮小ができないのは(GoogleMapsもそうなんですが)わたしの利用の仕方としては致命的です。みんなで使ってより良いものに進化したらすごい使い勝手良くなると思いますが、まだまだ発展途上ですね。

I am so tired of these corporate overlords bending the knee to the orange king, just because it helps their bottom line. Since when did loyalty to a president mean a business could be successful? This is a fast slide into communism … the state controls private business. I want my democracy back. Power to MapQuest I guess.

Waze
Absolutely brilliant, I'm a driving instructor and I've even recommended waze to many of my pupils.
Needs head up display integration
Waze is a great app for up to date navigation especially when I’m traveling from one patient appointment to the next. However, the app would be perfect if it also integrated with the car’s head up display same as Google Maps and Apple Maps via Apple CarPlay or android auto.

Navigation, Not Political Capitulation
Deleted Waze after it decided to replace Lake Ontario with “Lake America”. That isn’t navigation. It’s capitulation to political pressure. A mapping app should prioritize geographic accuracy and widely recognized place names, not participate in performative renaming.
Suggestions
Need to name roads when giving voice instructions and give voice instructions much sooner and more often. Need to also give voice instruction on distances. Sooner and more often.

You labeled all other lakes in the US. But Ontario words are missing. Trying to find a way around this roadblock are you? Well I guess that's a different Waze to stay out of the politics. But I'm watching -as soon as you go Lake America -I'm on Mapquest.
Highway Robbery
This app aims to cost you money it will always find a way to lead you to a toll. Especially when you are really close to your destination. It will either waist your gas by taking the long way or take you through tolls watch your route carefully and find a way not to have to use the gps, because it tends to rob all of you blind!! There’s also is no way this app has 4.8 stars it is cheating I’m giving three stars to see if it will let it.

The new update is terrible
This has been my favourite navigation app for years now, but the most recent update has ruined the alerts system (that used to work perfectly). Now I no longer get audible alerts about police, cars on the shoulder or any other useful information that I used to get.

Not as good as as it used to be
Lately, will not let me input my destination. I have to close it turn off my phone and then turn it back on before it will work. Also, I think it should have an option for notification of police that are traveling in the same direction, not just stopped.
