Pledge money well spent
In this day and age, I am so grateful to have a public radio station in the area that serves the community and not just its corporate donors. The station is not perfect but it always seeks to fulfill its public service mission.

My go to for news and entertainment
Local news is imperative and WBEZ exceeds in this arena. Lucky to live in the Chicagoland area. Having this access to the app gives me the confidence to easily connect up when I need to learn more about a topic knowing that it will be fair and objective. And let’s not forget about Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, Matketplace, The Moth, Under the Influence, just to name a few.

Best there is
Over the years this is my go to app for NPR all over the country & the world. Easy to use & intuitive the instructions are short sharp & shiny. They regularly feature all my favorite shows & make it possible for me to go back & listen to the shows I’ve missed. No buffering experienced with good internet.

Ad stops streaming
Seems that there’s an on-again, off-again issue with the ad stopping all streaming. Lately, I can’t use the app at all to listen.

Terrible app
You have a terrible app on Apple. Everytime i try to access a show and touch an icon , instead of going to the show, in a million second up pops a stem requiring I choose something or other but no “send button” appears which would allow me to get back to my show choices. In other words bahhhhhh!!!

Not perfect, but no one is. I particularly appreciate the widening of the coverage of more neighborhoods!
My family would like more coverage of city hall and cook county. When was the last time there was a sit down with the mayor a la WNYC “ask the mayor?”

Best app ever!
I don’t know what I would do without the WBEZ app when I would travel for work every week I would always listen to WBEZ on the app so I could stay informed on what was happening in Chicago and the world.
