75% of the time unable to connect at all. Would be nice to listen while traveling or out of state but I guess WBT doesn’t care about anything outside of their FM signal.

I’m experiencing the same problem as reported by DJH136. I too have been using the app for quite some time. I did just update to iOS 18.2 last night. That might have something to do with it. Developers, please catch up! Don’t make me send a Pete tweet!
Follow up - I have noticed over time that the “Unable to connect to network” happens because the stream stops if you turn the volume all the way down (like if you’re trying to hear someone talking without removing your buds). Then if you try hit Play to resume while the volume is still down; Error.

Won’t connect to network

Horrible App
There are so many issues with this app it’s hard to know where to start. Constant drops, endless ads, no network connection, etc. I’ve listened to WBT since childhood and I now travel throughout the northeast with my job. This app has never been good but has gotten a lot worse recently
Not good
This app is aggravating. The stream cuts out frequently and takes forever to load. Occasionally an ad will start randomly playing over the broadcast.
Failure
This app does not work. Don’t bother downloading it.
Drops off
This app is constantly losing its connection and it has nothing to do with the wifi or internet as ALL my apps work fine and never do this. FIX THE APP!! Apparently I’m not the only one experiencing this issue
Junk
One of the worst apps ever. Local radio station in town south of Charlotte has an app for their station that actually works. Shame on WBT.0Dark30
Too many ads
I used this app when I got out of radio range but after listening to 8 minutes of ads over and over I finally gave up and removed the app after a few weeks. I really enjoy listening to the other content on the AM radio but the signal is too poor to hear when I get to north Charlotte. The FM station is even worse. I’ll just have to find a new source for news in the Charlotte area.

Hope this update works
I am very disappointed by this app and frankly I’m shocked that WBT would continue to use this as their app to support their program streaming. This app allows the program being streamed to be cut into by commercials while the on air personalities are in the middle of talking about the various topics and also the commercials are the same ones over and over (sometimes back to back). It seems that the commercials are just inserted “Willy-Nilly”.

Horrible non functioning
Not sure what is happening at WBT however you can’t listen “online“ anymore and this app is useless. Apparently they are no longer in the business of “broadcasting“.

Absolutely terrible. Freezes all the time and the radio portion is a bunch of jumble being repeated over and over.
Terrible App
Glitchy, Ad-filled App that rarely works correctly. I just deleted it out of frustration. Also tired of hearing the same exact Ads over and over again for past couple of years. Don’t bother to download it, just stream from their website. It’s much better.

Online, the website is much easier to navigate than the app. Seems some personalities are favored more than others as I can’t find the one I want to hear from the past.
What Happened???
I have used this app on a daily basis Monday - Friday since I started working in the Charlotte area on a regular basis. Until recently, I have never had a problem with the app. Over the last couple of days, I cannot connect with the app. It says “Network error, having problems connecting with the internet. Check your connections”. EVERYTHING ELSE ON MY PHONE IS ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET”
I have turned my phone off and on, I deleted the app and reinstalled it and nothing works. Please fix the app! Over air signal comes and goes, which makes no sense either with the signal strength you advertise. WFNZ recently opened an FM station and I can hear them in a larger radius of Charlotte than I can your station. That is why I rely on the app. As the app operates now, won’t connect, when it does, lengthy advertisements before goes to the actual shows along with staying connected problems….I would not recommend this app.

Crashes all the time
This app either crashes all the time or will not even start. It has not kept up with software or system updates. I would love an app that actually lets me communicate with whoever is on air at the time. If you want to listen to it use Audacy this app just doesn’t work.
Terrible!
It drops out constantly! When it comes back it is stuck on commercials. It is NOT my signal strength.. I am fed up with trying to listen to BT using this app.
