Very poor app
I have tried to watch the news while away on vacation, the picture is way ahead of the voice and the closed caption blocks the view of the video. One segment and then breaks for commercials, which causes a very irritating sound while waiting for the commercial to complete.
If you are going to have an app, a total upgrade is needed.

Ads open on full volume while scrolling through articles
I don’t mind the new format but please stop the ads from opening and blaring when I am just trying to quietly read news. Only way to stop them is to close out the app.
Not a fan!
The latest update made articles harder to read, as the fonts are very tiny and each story is packed with ads ads ads and scam/ fake news stories. Took the local friendly feel away!
Disappointed
This new website is not user friendly, please go back to the other website. I also don’t get the updates sent to me automatically. What’s up!!!
Pop-up ads
There are much better ways to advertise than highjacking the users entire app experience. I delete apps with ads that take over your whole screen without warning for far too long. I get they need to sell ads to make money, but they need to find a better way to incorporate their ads. Not using the app until they fix it. Way too annoying.

New WCAX APP
You recently changed the app. It seems like some young computer programmer wanted to show everyone how incredible he is and made a total mess of your new site! The new site is packed with advertisements all over the page, and the news now has tiny pictures some on the right and then on the left, and sometimes large pictures in the middle! What a mess!!
I’m 81 years old and don’t want to spend my entire day looking for the news on the new format. What a mess you have made of your site!!!

WCAX your app is the worst!!!
Always buggy. Lucky if it works. Different platforms perform better or worse. On our fire stick we get the most inappropriate adds and have to mute them for our young kids. Doesn’t even work on my phone since the update. Can only watch on demand with sound off.
Poor Quality App
Lots of wasted space. Takes forever to load. Very confusing layout. Seems more advertisement /revenue driven. Previous version was a 5star, this version is less than a 1 star.

Should have left things alone, much harder to read, added confusing and complicated navigation.
Too many advertisements and not easy to use
The app worked so much better and had fewer adds in past. It is not user friendly and hard to navigate. Update the app or bring the original back.
Love to see my local news
I enjoy seeing the local news, National news and the weather in this app. Several times a day I review what’s posted. Would like that you would add the name of the news person. There is a lovely young black lady, who dresses and speaks beautifully, but the camera person often cuts her off mid sentence. Why? Is it to show prejudice? I find this VERY disrespectful. WCAX’s reputation is on the line. Management should address this matter seriously. It’s obvious.

New update is horrible
You can’t leave the app and go back to it without all the ads again. It’s full of ads. Guess it’s time to ditch this for looking at local news.

The app has way to too many ads. Every time you click on something, you have to watch an ad first. I like WCAX but this is annoying.

This is by far the most reliable when it happens news source for local news. I love this app!!

Open story goes blank before you can read it, happens again and again
Open a story and then page goes white before you can finish reading. Open it or another story same thing.
Numerous ads delay/prevent videos from loading
This is a poor app. It is filled with ads (some inappropriate) that delay being able to read stories or view videos. Often the ad will run and the video new story will be a blank screen. It seems there is more interest in profits than getting the news out.
Highjacks audio feeds
Every time I open the WCAX app, it cuts the audio of whatever audio I am listening to at the time. Really annoying. Otherwise it’s ok (except for the really poor grammar and spelling errors).
