The new version of the phone app does a terrible job of buffering. There are constant voids in listening.
It is almost as bad as listening to country music on the FM station. It is bad when the AM static is less irritating than the FM voids and country music. Bel Air MD should have very good FM reception.
Please bring back the poorly rated old version, it was better.

Buffering
This app needs work. Constant errors. I spend more time waiting on it buffering than hearing the programs. I’m not sure if the issue, but the streaming on my Amazon devices is also an issue. Get it together please.
Expected More From WCBM
I was looking for a way to listen to WCBM when not in AM range, seems pretty simple. Was not looking for pages and pages of terms and conditions that require “I Consent” to all manner of use of personal data in order to basically listen to the radio. Deleted.

Love hate relationship
Love being able to listen to WCBM but the app has more bugs and crashes than a diabetic hooker in a Baltimore hotel. I constantly have to kill and restart the app

This latest update 4/2020 has a problem with message studio. Email address is hidden from my view.

Too many bugs
The Freeeman ad interrupts inconveniently, at times droning out important information. The newest ad in the beginning just adds on the frustration. The buffering and loading bugs are beyond annoying and need to be fixed.
App needs a fix
After opening the app and getting through the first commercial the app works fine. My issue comes after my phone screen locks, when you go to unlock your phone the app acts as though it’s opening for the first time and replays adds and stops the broadcast. It’s really annoying. So bad that I don’t use the app and listen using the tune in radio app instead

Can’t view the app
I can play the app and listen to the radio show, but if I want to interact with the app, such as text the show, it is a big gray screen

Love the show, hate the app. In today’s technology improvements, I can’t understand how a developer can design such a crappy application. “If” it connects, that in itself is a miracle.

Disappointed
This app needs major upgrade. I have an iPhone 6. The app would start automatically and prevent incoming calls. On occasion I would have to shut down the phone totally and restart in order to make calls again. I called the station directly to advise of the problems. They were very nice but never got back to me. I've reinstalled the app several times but that did not help. I have had to uninstall and use a different app to listen to WCBM. I check back to see if any updates have happened but none since November 2016. I'd advise against this app. It makes my phone useless when is bugs out.

Like the station, hate the app
The app goes down FREQUENTLY!! Every time it restarts (if it does), it plays the same sponsorship commercial. Otherwise, it has good features. Too bad the streaming is so awful.
Can only listen for 3 hours before you must restart
I like to listen to talk radio in the background all day long. Sometimes 12 to 15 hours a day. I've noticed & actually timed, that the app will only run 3 hours then you must restart the playback. I keep my IPhone on a dock speaker that has a power button so I must power down the speaker and power back up. Then the app re-connects, plays an add then resumes for another 3 hours... Also, cannot stand actually watching the screen while it is streaming! You are constantly bombarded with adds, tweets or whatever else they happen to invade your screen with. Much easier to tolerate if I just walk away from the speakers and never look at screen again until I'm forced to restart the app every 3 hours! Ugh!!!

Disappointed - Not working
I love Sean and Frank in the morning and this new app is very problematic. Very inconsistent. Sometimes I can't hear anything. Sure hope it gets fixed because I hate missing the show.
