Personally, I would love to see the widgets :) Would be helpful to see top news/stories in the widget without going into the app. Like Reddit or Apple News do.

No more sections
The latest update got rid of all the sections. I’d like to read stories from “Don’t Waste Your Money”, but that section is gone now. That was one of the main reason I got the app.

Cam should be told that “get” sounds like pet and let not hit or pit. He was very annoying when he kept saying git on the Thursday night new s. I changed to ch 12 b/c he hurt my ears.

I’m cutting all ties with channel nine news after the incident with Steve Raleigh. It seems to be getting swept under the rug.
New ads make app unusable
The app has changed so now any time I touch a News article to scroll up or down and ad opens. It used to only do that if I touched the actual advertisement section. Now it happens every time I touch the article to scroll and read. Terrible user experience, downloading a different news app today.

WEATHER ALERT!!! But 1st watch this commercial... which probably won't play, freezes the app, therefore you can't watch the video about the tornado warning. Suffering through a commercial before being able to view a severe weather alert video? Money before lives. Well done, WCPO.
New update messes up weather
This was my go-to Cincinnati weather and news app, but with the remake, the weather section is awful. It’s rarely correct with the “feels like” or current temperature. When I try to refresh it, the sections go gray—nothing shows up for the forecast, hourly, daily, etc. Very disappointing!
The most recent update added more steps for weather.
I use this app to check the Weather daily. Since the update, I now have to do two extra steps in order to see the full hourly weather and the full weekly weather. Before I could see it all in the first page. I understand that the rest of the app may have gotten better, but I know I’m going to have to download a Weather app that doesn’t make me go through three steps just to see what used to take one step. Unfortunately, I will have to delete this one.

STOP sending weather alerts
STOP sending me daily weather notifications. I specifically have weather notifications turned off in the settings of your own app. Yet every single morning I get daily weather notifications and sometimes also multiple times a day. STOP IT. I want news. The app is good for that. Not weather. 1 star until you stop

I left Fox19 as reports on weather on app showing several days ago. I want instant results weather so I can go. Not sure why prev weather necessary. Have WCPO Love this app can get weather updates and top stories and traffic. Love it and think it is on target for what I have been searching for. WCPO is great.

It seems like there are stories on the app that are outdated and lingering for days.
Equal treatment of all stories
When I open the website I immediately see many different stories. I can see your brief overview of each story and decide what I want to read. I don’t see any bias and I am always searching for that. Good job. Keep up the good work
My favorite Cincinnati news app
I’ve tried the other Cincinnati news station apps and kept going back to this one. It’s the easiest to use and I like how it’s organized showing a simple list of stories. Every once in a while I look at the others but none have topped my fondness for WCPO’s. Keep up the good work!

Why your app opens safari?
The app should work by itself, not forcing safari to open.
Stories jumping around, constant crashes
Stories are constantly jumping around in the app as you scroll through and app crashes multiple times a day. Never had these problems until the past six months.
