It’s a very engaging app with great coverage of all of Massachusetts. All of the anchors are lovely and affable on air.

I live in South Carolina and grew up in Massachusetts and until now I continuously watch WCVB NEWS CENTER
My favorite
I grew up watching this news and I this app it really changed my life and WCVB News Center 5 was on the scene at my mother‘s job at QCC that year I was watching there coverage from my job that is closer to QCC there was an active shooter that’s what WCVB told me when I was watching it I want to say thank you so much for being there. I was going to come down to get my mother, but she went home. I decided to stay at my job and not to. be the one. to get shot I sent my gratitude and thanks to you. Thank you for this news app

Best news team ever…!!! I have been a WCVB fan since the 70’s. Always my first choice of news…. Totally reliable and spot on…. My go to choice even though I live in Western Massachusetts.

Videos Not Playing in News Stories
I’m experiencing an issue where videos embedded in news stories no longer play. This appears to be a recent problem, as playback was working previously.

Ever since the station was begun I have enjoyed and trusted your local programming most especially your news and weather. In this age of misinformation and pandering to petty bullies and government officials yours is a voice of integrity and reason.

Too many Ads!!
Every news article starts with an Ad. It’s so annoying. Today, I was trying to watch a live broadcast of a news conference on an active shooter at a college. There should never be Ads to access this type of news. Shame on you WCVB. Do better!

Best News Channel Ever!
I have watched WCVB News Center 5 for years including while working overseas. I was able to stay informed about goings on at home in MA as well as around the country. Thank you for all you do to stay on top of breaking news and informative stories of interest! You are the best!

All though I left Massachusetts and moved to sunny Arizona 8 years ago and later relocated to North Carolina in 2021.
