Bring back the old version
As of a bit before 8/13/26 - I used to really like this app because I liked the radar and the earthquake tracking. I’m not sure when the latest update occurred, but now in order to show severe alerts and earthquakes you have to set up a new map that you can’t even make default, and said alerts it’s hard to see against the radar itself (tried different opacities but couldn’t find a good balance). The earthquake symbols are now HUGE compared to before; you can’t tell anymore at a glance how big the quake was. I wish desperately for iPhones to have an app roll back feature but otherwise I have to shout into the void here and hope for change.

Ads took over
This used to be my go to weather app then the ads took over and now you have wait minutes before you can see anything and sometimes twice. Just got too annoying. They need to offer a paid subscription.
Ad infestation
Used to use this app all the time to check the weather but now there's ads everywhere all of a sudden and is really annoying to have to see an ad whenever I open the app and go to different tabs in the app there's another ad that comes up.
Too many adds
This used to be my go to app and all of a sudden, the adds are out of control. There are many times that I can’t even get out of the add and have to force close the app. I guess it is time to look for a new better weather app!

This is the most accurate weather app for our ever changing KC weather and I’ve used it for years but they’ve recently allowed ads. At first there were only a few and it was manageable but it’s gotten to be so bad I can’t even click on one thing without seeing another ad. Sadly I’ll be deleting this and switching to something else.

Ads ruin it!!
Please stop with all the ads!! The app was so much better without them! I use the app to check the weather… I don’t want or need an advertisement each time I change what I’m looking at. Ridiculous!
Ads Are Atrocious
Used to be a great app but the ads have ruined it. They are out of control and I cannot switch from the daily forecast to hourly forecast or radar without having an ad pop back up. The ads have also been concerning making it seem that your phone is compromised vs an ad. The latest ad now won’t even let me exit out of it making the app essentially useless. Also insane to have ads pop up when our area is under severe thunderstorm and tornado watches or warnings. I don’t want to wait for an ad to allow me to close it when a tornado warning is for where I live. Very frustrating and inconvenient! We get it everyone needs ads for revenue but there are ways to do it that don’t ruin the user experience…especially when talking about a weather app!!

Shady Ads
The app has deceptive ads on it now so it makes me not trust it. It makes me not trust the station either.
Needs another fix!
Since the last update, the daily forecast never shows after the large and annoyingly long advertisement. That’s the main thing I used besides the radar. Fix the app and don’t bloat it with ads!
Bites
This app is awful. I got a couple of minutes of what I thought the app was about. I brought my iPad to work so I could follow the bad weather. After a couple of minutes it made me set up an account and now I cannot see any of those weather warnings going on with any of the fox personnel. I wanted to see the live videos on the weather tracking where the tornado was going or floods, but nope, it just shows “loading” and nothing loads. I had no idea if it was safe to drive home or not. We don’t have any TV’s at work. It’s now worthless to me. I’m going to uninstall it.

Forced ads in emergency?
That’s dumb, and I am done with this app, and this station.
Embarrassingly bad
This app is as bad as the station it represents. In a weather emergency, these jack wagons want to show you an ad before any useful information. This is absolutely NOT the app you want in an emergency.
I liked it until..
I get the longest pop up ads of my life just to check the weather. Was super reliable and now I dread opening this app…

Invasive Ads
Ads hijack the screen with fullscreen video and loud audio for 5 to 10 seconds with no way to shut it off usually other than shutting the phone off. Very intrusive and annoying. Deleting app.

Didn’t use to have ads and now every time you change from one screen to the next a stupid video ad pops up and it’s really annoying.
Ads horrible
Bad enough weather accurately is poor at best. Now can’t look at radar or forecast without getting stopped by ads.
Useless Radar
Very disappointed- radar is not even close to being accurate (I have no idea on their source or if their location mapping is out of whack). Other apps are far superior. I suggest you pass on this app.
Ads are horrible
The latest release has introduced blocking full screen ads. This makes the app difficult to use due to frequent interruptions you must wait through. I will be switching to a new weather app if this is not addressed quickly as the older releases did not have this issue and was much more user friendly.
