Functionality Frustating
I end up searching the internet for the stories, because they rarely load in the app. Content is worthwhile and appreciated, but if it won’t load…..?

Major update
When was the last time you guys made a major update to your app because this morning I wanted to read today’s headlines so by any chance when will you be able to update this app
Inconsistent and buggy
As of June 2026 been using the app for 2+ years; when everything is working correctly it makes it easy to scroll through WDWNT’s articles and content. Unfortunately, most of the time there always seems to be issues with the content loading up either on the initial page or bringing up the article when clicked, making the app a waste of time.

I love their news, but the stories on their app will never load!
Most inconsistent app I’ve ever had
This app is fantastic for news and information…..when it actually works. Most of the time it won’t even load in. I want to use it but dont want to waste my time waiting for it to load only to find that nothing is coming. Sad…..
Strongly Recommend
Overall great app. Lots of news that’s easy to access. It really helps me out. This is a great app and I recommend it. Although sometimes it doesn’t load or let you look at something, it’s great for what it is and I like it very much. It gives news on everything in the parks and what’s happening in the Disney world. Although I don’t like how universal is included, but it doesn’t bother me that much. Strongly recommend.

Misses The Mark
I wanted this app to be great. It’s misses the mark. While it does have SOME good articles, like merchandise and construction updates on major projects, some of the “articles” feel more like clickbait and gossip. There are too many “walls went up at” articles, and there won’t be any valuable information. It’s very buggy. If you filter for ONLY Walt Disney World, you’ll still get Universal Studios or Disneyland or even international Disney parks. Links inside articles, to their other content, are almost always broken. If you click on a related story, the app will sit in a perpetual state of loading with the spinning wheel of death present. How are you going to update your stories daily but not update your app in two years?

No Notifications
Overall great app. Lots of news that’s easy to access. It really helps me out. But one problem with this app is that I don’t get notifications. I don’t know if it’s the app but everything in settings shows that I should but I don’t. I used to get them but I don’t know what happened and it bugs me. But yeah this is a great app and I recommend it. Although sometimes it doesn’t load or let you look at something, it’s great for what it is and I like it very much.

Barely Functional
2026 Update: Now, when clicking on a story from the home page, it doesn’t load. So the app is now completely useless and does nothing correctly. Everything from the rest of this review written in January 2025 still applies - this app needs fixing.
I’m writing this as a review of the app alone, not the content in it. The app itself is horrendous. Clicking on notifications from the lock or Home Screen will bring you into the app, but not the specific story that you clicked on. I don’t know why this doesn’t work as it used to in the past. Additionally, if you click on a link to a previous story that is embedded in the current story (these links are very common), it just doesn’t work. You get taken to an endless loading screen instead. An example would be if a story is about a project construction update, and there’s a link to the concept art of said project. Instead of being brought to the original story featuring the concept art, nothing happens. The app is also riddled with ads to the point where it seems like there’s one after every paragraph in a story. I know this is how they make money from a free app, but it just seems excessive. Lastly, if a story is long, there’s an error where the story will just randomly stop and the rest of the page is just white. Even the ads don’t load. The app itself is just poorly designed and several basic features don’t work properly. All of these haven’t been issues in the past, but it seems like they’re more concerned about giving the app big visual updates without fixing the underlying issues that make it an unpolished and frustrating experience.

Unfunctional
This app is in serious need of attention by developers. It doesn’t work the vast majority of the time. Articles seldom load. When they do, forget clicking on a link within the article, because those never load. Unfortunately, their website is only marginally better.
Terrible App
The content when it loads I very informative, however, the app is absolutely horrible. Content doesn’t load from the title blurb more often than it loads. Just a horrendous app that, if not improved, should be removed by developers and just leave web site for articles.
Best WDW Fan App
Lov this app, but an upgrade is desperately needed, app fails to load most of the time and crashes regularly. Tom/Jason/Eric… or Nanna, HELP!

love the content- when i can read it. app it so glitchy, crashes just about every time i use it, and is just downright frustrating. do better! an update is definitely in order.
