About

Regulation (EU) 2019/947 is the same in Lisbon and in Helsinki. What changes from one country to the next is the authority, the registration, the insurance, the minimum age and the way the exam is scored — and that is exactly where candidates lose marks. We Drone covers both: the European syllabus in full, and a module written for your own country. GOT A DRONE? A free card sets out in four steps what the regulation asks before the first flight: the class, operator registration, training and the online exam, the zones. It corrects the reflex "under 250 g, so nothing to do". YOUR COUNTRY, NOT JUST "EUROPE" National modules are written, not translated: France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands, 25 to 30 questions each. The German module walks through who examines and who supervises, registration and the eleven groups of geographical areas; the Dutch one gives the distances to motorways, railways and the power grid; the Italian one applies the −1 penalty the way the real exam does; the Spanish one starts from the 2024 royal decree that replaced the old one. A COURSE, NOT JUST A QUIZ 42 cards cover all 12 syllabus subjects: the 9 for A1/A3 and the 3 for A2. One card fits one screen and names the classic trap. Several carry a diagram drawn inside the app, with a full VoiceOver description: visual line of sight, classes C0 to C4, geographical zones. UNDER EVERY ANSWER, THE ARTICLE Every question and every card carries its reference — Regulations (EU) 2019/947 and 2019/945, an EASA acceptable means of compliance, or published national law, with the date of the consolidated version. FREE, WITH NO CATCH • The whole A1/A3 course: 32 cards, diagrams included • 318 A1/A3 questions, unlimited practice by subject • Mastery tracking: in each practice, the questions mastered out of the total • 1 full mock exam • Your country's course card • No ads, no account A2, NATIONAL MODULE AND "MY MISTAKES" — €6.99, ONE-TIME PURCHASE • The A2 course: 10 cards and their 163 questions • Your country's questions, in practice and in the mock exam • "My mistakes": the questions you missed come back until you get them right. Free users see how many are waiting • Unlimited mock exams • No subscription: you sit the exam once, you pay for the app once THE MOCK EXAM USES YOUR COUNTRY'S RULES • Belgium — 40 questions, 30 correct required, 2 hours, 3 attempts • Germany — 40 questions, 75 %; the authority publishes no time limit, and the app says so • Spain — 40 questions, 75 %, 40 minutes, wrong answers cost nothing • Italy — +2 / −1 / 0, pass at 60 out of 80 points, 60 minutes • France — 40 questions, 75 %, no time limit; A2: 30 questions, 23 correct, 1 hour • Elsewhere in the EU, including the Netherlands — the European baseline (40 questions, 75 %); the duration is set by your authority, and the app says so Where the authority publishes a time limit, the mock exam is timed. COVERAGE: EUROPEAN UNION ONLY We Drone covers the EU open category under Regulation (EU) 2019/947. It does not cover the United Kingdom: the UK A2 certificate sits with a different authority and follows a different syllabus. If you fly in the UK, this is not the app for you. YOUR DATA NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no ads, no trackers, no data collected. The only outbound connection is the purchase, handled by Apple. Everything else works in airplane mode. INDEPENDENCE We Drone is an independent revision app. It is not affiliated with, approved by or certified by EASA, the DGAC, the LBA, the RDW, the ILT, AESA, ENAC, the DGTA/BCAA or any other civil aviation authority. It issues no certificate and no proof of competency: the exam is taken solely with the competent authority of your own state. The questions are written by wewe and reproduce no official exam question. Content based on Regulations (EU) 2019/947 and 2019/945 — © European Union, https://eur-lex.europa.eu/, 1998-2026 — and on published national law. Only the official texts in force are authoritative.

What's New in We Drone

1.2

October 3, 2026

National modules for France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy, with 25 to 30 questions each and their own course card. New: the mock exam is timed where the authority publishes a time limit: Spain 40 min, Belgium 2 h, Italy 60 min, French A2 1 h. French A1/A3 (no time limit) and Germany (no published duration) are not timed, and the app says so. "My mistakes" (part of the Pro purchase): replay the questions you missed until you get them right. Free users see how many are waiting. Also new: a free A2 preview, the first card of each subject and 10 questions. And the bank grows to 318 A1/A3 questions (133 before) and 163 A2 questions, each checked against the official text it cites: abnormal procedures, batteries, weather, calculations. Mastery tracking (free): in each practice, the questions mastered out of the total. One more free card, "Got a drone?": the four steps before the first flight. Fixed: "Finish" in practice now closes the session with a count, and the per-subject counters now count only your country's questions.
