The app is very easy to use and allows you to deposit cheques with a remote photo. That’s the greatness about it.
Where it is in excusably lacking in, is:
A. You can not find your account number, transit or institution number in it. The app should have a Voided Cheque to download, to provide other institutions to link your account, or enable direct deposit. And yes even savings accounts can display this info in voided cheque format!
B. The app should have the ability to link external accounts at other institutions, to enable clients to transfer funds, between institutions.
While the app does have Interac Transfers, it should offer plan B for people who desire it, or require it.
