Paid out
I had been waiting since last October for some payments. I knew they had been having difficulties but stuck with them and last week they paid out on all my pending payments.
Don’t pay their customers
Was really good for years previously, a little side hustle for extra money, would endorse to other people at the time. However in 2026 something has happened, you wait the usual 30 days after watching an advert to qualify for withdrawing money, and despite saying it will be paid in 3-5 days, they won’t payout. £23 they’ve still yet to pay including money since March (this is after the 30 days), that’s 6 months and counting. They maybe low on cashlow but they are still putting out more adverts so clearly still receiving money.

It’s ridiculous what’s happening with the weare8. It started as a cool app giving money to people watching ads as well as to charities! They have stopped giving us the money, I am still waiting my funds from April and I am even wondering if that’s how they treat the charities too!! That’s a disgrace!! Don’t download, don’t keep doing it! They still run ads but they DON’T pay!!

Well I am reading the comments and their responses that they have financial issues but I just went into the app and they offer me 7 ads still when they don’t pay us! How do you explain this??

Fantastic app
Wonderful app to spread love and get some money too! Scrolling can be meaningful. Erica in the customer service team is the best, super helpful and caring.
It has become a fraud - AVOID
It has been over a year that I requested a payment and I still have not been paid. They still have adds which means they are still getting money from companies and the government (depending on the add), however they do not transfer the money anymore. I wonder whether they pay the charities they claim they do after watching an add. In the name of charity they deceive people and companies.
And it is not only me who has had this view - do your research before wasting your time (they used to be decent but not anymore).

Update… Aug 2026, now had all outstanding payments made.

Used to be very good with both videos and payment.
Now they don’t pay. If you emailed them, you get “we aren’t getting paid from our end either” so I’d avoid for now at least

Dont bother with this app as you will not get paid. How it can exist in the App Store is beyond me
False Promises
I started using this App because I felt it gave all the right vibes of what I wanted from Social Media.
Positive stories, engaging content, fantastic ethos, and a platform that actually paid you for interacting with their advertisers.
Having been a member of the WeAre8 community for a few years I have now come to the conclusion that the people who run the App are full of false promises.
I have built up earnings of £121.69 and despite attempting to claim my earnings they have not been paid to me.
I contacted admin who said it may take a while to process but it has been almost 12 months.
Reading through reviews this seems to be a common issue.
Sadly, I will now be deleting my account in resignation of the understanding that this App is a con.

I don’t know…
I don’t know what’s happening, but for quite a long time now I haven’t had any videos available to watch. I could easily have gone 2–3 months without earning any money because there have been no videos at all. I don’t know if they only make them available early in the morning and then remove them later, I’m not sure, but if this continues I’ll have to uninstall the app. Now it feels like some kind of Instagram or something like that.

Don’t pay
Used to be a good app and did make a little money from it, but have 3 payments outstanding, 1 from October 2025. Will be surprised if payment is ever made now.
No Payout
Not a bad social media platform, but we know you’re only planning to use it for the rewards. I’ve waited three months for a payout and just get told that they ‘have delays’. It’s only about £5, nothing major.

Been waiting for a payout for months now. An AI search indicates they went into administration earlier this year so monies may be lost.

Is this a scam app
I have been using this app for a while and have built a pot up to cash out. The 1st payment cashed out but after that it has never paid out. There is one payment outstanding from November 2025 and 8 months later still waiting less than £2 and recently there was £11 approximately and that still pending. They want you to watch advertisements and they get paid and you get a small cut. So when they have been why can’t you pay out. I believe the content creators are good but the app owners are being greedy and not paying out as should be.
