About
The ultra-low power Wearifi Light Monitor collects light exposure data 24/7 and uses Bluetooth to send the data to your app. The iOS app will run in the background to save the data and upload the data files when you have WiFi.
The animated name tag for the monitor will display green when the monitor is connected. If the name tag is yellow that means that the device is connecting to your phone via Bluetooth. Your data gauge will be filled when the app received data from the light monitor. To know that your sensor is working properly, you can check that the name tag is green and the data gauge fills up.
Note:
The Wearifi Light Monitor is an ultra-low power sensor that collect light data passively every 30 seconds. It may take 1-2 minutes for the data gauge to fill up if the app has not been connected to the monitor in the background or the app hasn't had an opportunity to upload data. Feel free to check back in once you know the device is connected as the app will continue to run in the background. You don't have to worry about data loss if you are connecting every couple of days as the light monitor can buffer up to 2 weeks of data between connections.
