Terrible

No negative button for minus temps

Disappointing

Save your money. It's a good idea, but you have to enter all the information manually. It should at least be able to input the temp automatically based on your location. Will be deleting!

Wind Chill calculations don't work for Canada

App doesn't accept metric units :-(

Excellent app

A nice easy to use app. It is useful in understanding the relationship between the air temperature, relative humidity, sunlight and the heat index. It also computes ‘Apparent Temperature’ which is similar to the heat index but includes the effects of the wind. Although easy to use and understand, the addition of some included documentation would be useful (e.g., the apps computes ‘wind chill’ - but what is ‘Wind Chill Index’, and what are representative radiation levels for sunny and cloudy days in the summer and winter.)

A great app just as it is. However, it would be a nice addition if the next app upgrade would include a setting to automatically go out to the web and automatically enter information.

Great app

Nice tool to use

Disappointed ...no context provided to the calculations.

Not for "Joe Public" ..... cannot enter temperatures in Centigrade for a start as there is no optional setting, then there is no information to explain the relationships that the calculations mirror. Old and new scales are not explained and the rating system of "black flag" days etc is not quantified in terms of how a person would feel ie signs and symptoms.

Needs a "Settings" Menu

I agree with the reviewer, "xparticle" that it's frustrating to always have to change the units to metric when I use this app. I'm Canadian and live in a region where wind chill can make a major difference in how you dress, so I use this app virtually every day in the winter. The only exception is "Humidex," as this is Canadian, so it's always set to metric units.

This app needs a "settings" menu so users can set units on all applicable categories to metric automatically, if they wish, and retain that setting permanently, even after closing the app. This is its major weakness for users outside the U.S. There are a lot of us and this issue is a hinderance to making this app truly user-friendly. Fix it, and this app is a winner, because otherwise, it really has no competition as full-featured.

Not worth the money.

You have to enter the information manually.

Keyboard

Great app ,but would like the keyboard to default to numerical
values. You have to shift to numbers each time you enter a number. There is no need for letters.

Weather calc

A ridiculous app that does not work. Just wasted $1.99! 😤

Not good

No doubt the app can do many calculations but the UI seems to be very outdated and the worse part is that the app doesn't remember Celsius as the unit, every time you start the app you have the change units from Fahrenheit to Celsius, I will change my rating once the app is able to metric settings so I don't have to change from imperial to metric.

Not correct

Improper formulas to calculate wet bulb temps. Way off!

How hot is it?

Purchased this app for 'apparent temperature' calculator. Which is roughly Heat Index factored for wind.

Works well to answer question should we do outside work when it is 82f, 80%rh, 11mph wind OR when it is 85f, 72%rh, 12 mph wind.

Would have given 5 stars if Shade & Direct Sun results were provided as they are for Heat Index.
