Unsafe 5min Radar Delay
I’ve used Hi-Def Radar for years to monitor potential flooding on burn scars and changing mountain conditions because it’s radar was reliable and timely. Lately, however, the free version only displays radar up to 5 min before the current time unless you pay for the service. That delay is unacceptable-and potentially dangerous-during rapidly developing severe weather, especially flash floods and tornados. Timely radar should not be hidden behind a paywall when people may rely on it for their safety. I’ve switched to another app.

Constantly does not bring up any actual weather on the map. Would not recommend it.

I relied on this app for years as an exterior painting contractor and motorcycle rider. I was sooo disappointed with the last update. You literally had a perfect/simple app for years. It was my go to forever. Why change something that’s not broken?! I will never understand the need to take something that was so simple and so perfect and to be frank ruin it… it was perfect. Ugh

5 star app — AND Customer Support
i’ve had this app for about a year - it is highly accurate at showing where bad weather systems are currently located - and where they’re headed. I have been able to accurately and safely plan my outdoor activities around the prediction capabilities of this tool. But today I just learned not only is it a five star app — it has five star customer service. I was having a problem with the app and I clicked on the link for Customer Support and typed in my question - truthfully I didn’t expect to hear anything. Much to my pleasant surprise, within an hour I had a response and a solution. The solution worked. These people stand behind their product!! I highly recommend this App !!!

Annoying
Shows good weather but very annoying with the constant popup ! I left it for a couple years because of that and came back couple weeks ago and I now remember why I stopped using it. Getting ready to leave it again !!! You’re welcome. !

Constantly 20 Minutes Behind
App used to be great, now the most recent map update is always at least 15-20 minutes old. Running latest version of app 4.6.71
Late to refresh
When I open the app, it often won’t refresh for a few minutes and I’ll be stuck only being able to see up to roughly 20 minutes ago. I would like this app much more if it would refresh more often.

This is a good app I was outside and on the app i saw a big rainstorm coming so I love this app it saved me from the winds

App keeps getting worse
It used to be that the radar would update every 7 - 8 minutes. Now it updates every 20. That makes the app virtually worthless, especially in severe weather situations. My app is up to date.
Accurate and good view options
I’ve been using this for years now free version I don’t subscribe, but I think that this is consistently accurate helpful and it gives you different view options, depending on the time of year so that you can adjust to what works best for that season.
Irritating
Less than the best now that all the options are paid only!!! Wasn’t that they 6 months ago. Update the app and boom, functionality gone.
Just plain doesn't work
Have you paid any attention to your latest rev.. we now have hail storms standing still.. dumping 20 to 30 inches or more.. and hailstones the size of bowling balls..
Can no longer use even though I have a subscription
Cannot use anymore - getting prompted to pay even though I have 2 months left on my subscription. Loved the app but deleting and looking for an alternative.

Greedy
Bought this app many years ago and it has been slowly losing features to now require subscription on top of ads on startup to encourage buying their subscription. Shameless greed and reneging on previous purchase agreement.
Dangerous delays
It’s important to be able to see current weather conditions especially when dangerous conditions exist. This app shows “now” which is actually 20 minutes ago lag time. The developer has the ability to show current conditions but chooses not to, which becomes a danger to the users instead of a reliable source of information about current weather conditions. I updated the app, and now there is a 16 minute delay instead of a 20 minute delay. So folks can get the important severe weather AFTER it’s already happened. Do better. This should not be allowed on the App Store marketplace.

Used To Be Great
For years, this was my favorite weather app. Once they added the paywall, the normal features stopped working on my iPhone. I can see the map, but no matter what layers I choose, the app will no longer show me the data. I am assuming that I’m still supposed to be able to see some layers with the recent weather up to now displayed. This app no longer does that, so I must assume it is also gotten very buggy. I don’t mind paying for absence services that I use, but I refuse to pay top dollar for an weather subscription that doesn’t work.
