Garbage. Same info from other free sites

Even with a premium paid account, no new info from other free accounts. Local news gives more info. Waist of $20 a month

First thing you ask is for my email and a password?? Must be far left wanting that information👎👎👎
Update 4.22.22 claim not far left.
However should not be in the free apps when you have to pay for a subscription👎👎👎👎

A farmers must have!

This is by far the best weather app out there! Every farmer needs this app! The accuracy of the past 12hr and 24hr rainfall is amazing plus the accuracy in the forecast. Love this app!

False advertising

All the ads for this app say that it’s free. Yep it’s free to download, then they inform you that you have to pay a subscription fee, I’ll stick with Windy, Storm Shield, NOAA and even the Weather Channel.

No false advertising at all. It’s all over the description. Clearly stated that the weatherporthole.com is required to use this app. Please remove this false review or update.

Outstanding!

This app is a one stop shop for all weather information I need. I can view long term, short term graphics and discussions in addition to simulated and real radar. I can get alerts to threatening weather in my area. BAM has really turned the corner with this application. Highly recommend.

The detailed weather assessments offered with its forecasting capability is delivered timely, precisely and with clean sharp views. It’s hard, almost next to impossible to consistently package and deliver all this information to a professional / individual user into one spot, yet this app accomplishes without any disappointment.

The Weather Porthole is well done and worth a tryout to see what awaits in such a great format to be among the “weather best” informed!

Bad Faith Company

App requires a minimum $150 6-cmonth subscription to function; a fact not revealed until I had handed over my name, email and phone info. Now they have my personal information and I have nothing. Bad faith and possibly scammy business model.

Update: Developer states that app description contains subscription information and pricing. Actually, it doesn’t, as can be seen in my screen shots. I would encourage ‘this company to be more transparent.

** Update as your see at the bottom of the app information screen it says what I described to you along with a marketing link listed for a subscription chart. So again nothing has been falsely stated along with a website link that the website has full pricing information shown. Marcus. Thank you for your review but if you read the full description of the app you will see it states that this app requires a weatherporthole.com subscription where all the pricing is shown. Also on the marketing information is an info graphic showing all pricing. Thank you again for your concerns.

Unusable

It’s free to download and the app description says nothing about needing a subscription. But when you open the app you have to login in with email & password. Still nothing directs you to the fact you need a paid service account. BAM absolutely the best forecasting, I’ve followed them on FB for years. And our local broadcast meteorologists refer to BAM as a source. But I was hoping and expecting to find a nice basic free weather app. This app is for businesses & institutions who will pay big $ for the best info and I’m sure it it well worth the price for them but not for the average weather curious person.

The description of the app says weatherporthole.com subscription required at the end of the app information screen also shows a marketing information link for a subscription chart. The website also has all the pricing information and signup information listed. Per Apple we are not allowed to list pricing in the info screen.

Blown away

I’ve been in weather for many many years as an enthusiast.. over 30 in fact... Over that time I’d like to think I’ve learned quite a bit.. The one thing that everyone has always wanted is a forecast for their backyard. And this is the app that has done just that.🤩 My friends at BAM have created something truly special with this app. I’ve been using it for a few days now and watching hour by hour and this thing HAS NOT MISSED. Literally, I’ve been looking for errors and they haven’t been there. Nothing is perfect, but this is HANDS DOWN the best I’ve personally seen so far.. It’s actually quite remarkable in this age of errant computer models and vast private and public opinions on what the weather will do... I’m SUPER BLOWN AWAY by this one folks, and you will be too. 👍🏻
