Use to be a good app, now the lightning map sucks, app has to be open for notifications, calls thunder a lightning strike and doesn’t even properly predict weather. Fix hose issues and I won’t delete the app. Otherwise, I’ll be deleting soon
Changes to Spark Lightning Map
WeatherBug continues to be the app I trust most for weather updates, however, the recent changes to the Spark Lightning map that no longer show the *most recent* lightning strikes in a different color (used to be RED) is a major downgrade to the old programming. Especially as a person in a state where lightning is a concern 365 days a year and has very recently injured or killed more people to date for this year than years past, knowing precisely where lightning strikes have popped up helps immensely with being able to decide whether to do simple every day things. Hopefully, the next update to the Spark Lightning feature utilizes a better design for showing most recent strikes.

Can’t delete locations
Keeps saying I have to have at least one location to Delete. I have a total of 12 locations that I saved and a location set to where I’m at right now and it still will not let me delete other locations I don’t want it is very annoying.
NOISY ads!
I’ve used Weatherbug for years and loved it. It was part of my morning routine. However, upon opening the weather as I do every morning, an annoying large ad has been repeatedly playing loudly. Since I can’t turn it off, I’m looking for another app.

Takes control of phone
This app takes control over your phone and is very difficult to remove. Had to delete the app . It’s like a virus on your iPhone.
What happened to severe weather notifications??
I used to get severe weather notifications and now I get nothing. I have to open the app and go look, which is ok for just checking the daily weather. But not that helpful for storms and blizzards. I don’t need pollen notifications. I need severe weather notifications so I can take the proper precautions.

New lightning map SUCKS
The new lightning map really SUCKS. bring back the old one. It’s horrible. The rest of the app is still fine but I’m giving it one star because of the lightning map
What happened??!
This used to be such a great app, especially the lighting tracker, which was spot on when lightning struck my neighbor’s house. Why did you ruin it. This update is terrible. Please undo it so we don’t have to go find something else.

Lightening map change is awful
PLEASE BRING BACK THE SATELLITE MAP!!
I hate the new lightening map. The old one used to show a red dot on the spot where the latest strike occurred. Now you get 3 rings with shades of orange that make the lightning bolts neatly invisible when trying to see the approximate locations of the latest strike. Go back to the old version PLEASE! It’s useless!

Spark Map
The Spark map changed in the last couple of weeks and it looks very basic. It is not using the same layer as the storm tracker that I have used since downloading the app. What’s going on?
Lightning map
The lightning map is now next to useless. Bring back the old one. It worked perfectly fine.
Accurate
I actually checked the app before I go outside if I’m not sure,because it’s accurate.If it wasn’t, you wouldn’t even be hearing from me.
Keep the classic version
The tiny symbols for each hour are too tiny to see.
I’m perfection
This is the best app for weather ever. It’s literally to the minute accurate radar can have you pouring concrete with no stress. Loyal customer for life, 10-12 year user. Wowwwwwwwed everytime.

Don’t line the intrusive ads that you can’t mute the sound
