Excellent weather app !

There are loads of good weather apps out there, but what really makes this one stand out is its rainfall indication. They mostly give an indication of the probability of rain at different times of the day, but this goes further by indicating the likely amount. For example a probability of 80% chance of rain might seem daunting, but if you know the likely amount is 0.2mm then there’s not too much to worry about. Highly recommended.

Consistently Accurate Forecasting

I have been using this for many years and find it consistently reliable for accuracy in West of Scotland

Weather pro

I have been using this app for a few years. It has kept me dry on most cycle trips :)
However, the latest version is very slow, for which I deducted one star. Since a year or so the maps are no longer showing any data. I emailed their support and got a very unfriendly response returned. DO NOT BUY THIS APP
Added 2 days later: received email from the developer that they are working on a hotfix. Seen a reference to a fix for way too long. In a previous email received from the developer they also state that they don’t want to update customers by email if a fix is ever forthcoming.

No longer functions properly

Used to be best one out there, now half the functionality doesn’t work. Temperatures ok,but not off the maps work on either of the devices I use ( and now have to pay for separately)

Most facilities withdrawn

It was a great app for some years, but now none of the maps views work. the map is there, but no data. Same in both free and paid versions.

Good app but missing some data

Have always found it to be a good app, but lately the overlays on the maps do not show any cloud, rain, or anything else. For that reason it is scored low as its missing key data in presentation.

Weather pro was the best weather app ☹️

Shame it is now so poor☹️

Map images non existent

This app used to be brilliant. But now it shows no data for radar or satellite. After trying suggested fixes, I contacted customer service, who said they are aware of the problem, working on it, but have no idea how long it will take to fix, so they closed my ticket.

Used to be excellent

Now it is not worth paying for the premium functions as most do not work any more. Very disappointed as a long time subscriber.

A godsend for the elderly!

As a disabled 78-year-old, at the mercy of the weather, this app helps me plan the best time to brave the elements!

Helpful to have

Look on it everyday to check weather before going out.very reliable

Rain radar now useless

This is the last year I pay for premium. One of the best features is now useless and doesn’t work.

Mr Roy

This app used to be reliable and have really helpful radar rainfall maps and maps giving isobars etc. Sadly, no longer. It has lost all its good features and can no longer be recommended as the go to weather app

Maps

The Maps never seemed to work properly these days. They used to do.

Was the best weather App for Europe

I have used the Pro version for a number of years and found it was the best Weather App around for Europe for my use. It seems to be fairly accurate in its predictions. I prefer the previous edition for my iPad. The newer version is slower and the maps only work intermittently which is very irritating. The account section does not allow me to sign in any more and I find no place to upgrade and have not been prompted to pay for new version or premium. I deleted the app and redownloaded but the results are the same. DTN needs to clean up their act. The Swiss are beating them up with Meteoblue.

Robbing Subscriptions

I have been a customer for many years and subscribe on 1 or sometimes both devices, the subscription used to login and was easy to administer, this weekend i renewed 1 device then at home renewed the other, then both were asking for payment again, I stupidly renewed at £8.99 and claimed back my 3 months via app store, guess what again asking for renewal, I though ok i will subscribe on the monthly sharing payment and claim back for the £8.99 but apple say not eligible for refund final decision. used to be good but poor subscription purchase experience.

Lost all favorites

I upgraded right before the move to apple subscriptions. That was a few months ago. Now all of my favorites are gone? And no + button to add them. I can’t report this problem as the report problems site isn’t found.

Profiteering!

On 4th Jan this year I got a notification that my annual subscription for ‘Weather Pro for iPad’ was due, so I dutifully paid £8.99. However on the 19th Jan I received the same expiry notice, and without checking I just renewed again for £8.99 without thinking.
I’m now waiting to see the outcome of my refund request for the second and in my mind inexcusable demand for a repeat payment. It’s bad enough having now to pay for each premium app for individual devices, without being asked to pay twice for the same app. The way these payments and renewals has been handled is in my opinion a complete shambles, and I’m now considering a different app come the next renewal which is a shame as it’s always been my go to weather app!!!🤬

Gute Vorhersagen, mieses Abo-Modell

Response from developer

Hello. Kind regards,
