FAQ

What does Web Messenger do?

Web Messenger is an advanced in-app browser that allows you to browse the web in desktop view, access desktop-only websites, and utilize third-party web offerings normally unavailable on mobile. It also provides developer features for managing headers, cookies, and browser storage.

What are the key features of Web Messenger?

Key features include a desktop view, the ability to change your user agent to appear as a desktop, management of headers and cookies, control over browser storage (cookies and local storage), and view port manipulation. These features are useful for debugging and accessing specific web content.

How much does Web Messenger cost?

The app offers a freemium model. There is a free version with certain limits, and a premium subscription that removes all limits and allows unlimited usage. You can manage your subscription through the App Store.

Is Web Messenger compatible with other apps like WhatsApp?

This application is not endorsed by or affiliated with WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Inc. While it allows access to web versions of services, it is a separate browser and not directly integrated with specific messaging apps like WhatsApp for its core dual chat functionality.

What are common use cases for Web Messenger?

Common use cases include accessing websites that are only designed for desktop browsers, debugging web applications by simulating different user agents and viewing site behavior, transferring web sessions by managing cookies and headers, and testing web API functionalities.
