Great Potential, Rough Execution
The Web Summit app could be a powerful tool… but right now, it feels more like a beta version than the official app of one of the world’s biggest tech events.
The agenda section works well — clear, useful, easy to browse.
But beyond that… things get messy:
• Impossible to find the actual opening hours of the venue (kind of important, right?).
• The interactive map doesn’t work, leaving you wandering like it’s a treasure hunt without the treasure.
• Contact requests do function, but they’re so poorly qualified that you end up spending more time sorting noise than generating real opportunities.
In short: good idea, average execution.
For an event that celebrates innovation, the app should really reflect the same level of excellence.

Battery drain
It drains the battery and I wonder, what happens to my data and who gets it, who will be the buyer or buyers?
Buggy
It’s usually a great app for attending the conference. Love the scheduling and easy messaging options.
I’ve been noticing more bugs in the streaming parts. Can’t seem to hold a consistent stream at all - and I’m on WiFi and 5G.

Why do you fetch all my contacts?
I don’t see any reason for app like this to fetch all my contacts
App not working
App is not working. It is the first morning of Web Summit and many of us regular attendees are walking around MEO Arena wondering what is happening to the event. It’s just not running and we can’t enter.
Full of bugs
Latest version full of bugs and error messages. How embarrassing for a technology conference. Fix it asap.
Not usable
I don’t receive the confirmation code at all
Solid
I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. i rarely write reviews but this overall low rating is highly misleading imho. I am using it on iOS 17.6.1, it runs smoothly and fast and is definitely immensely useful for organizing your schedule at the event and connecting.
Constantly Improving
Amazing to see how ux designers, especially one (don’t want to say the name here) reach out to us to understand how to improve and than see that the app becomes better each year!
Just stopped loading schedule
Schedule stopped working. No information uploads to it, can’t open information in My schedule
Scheduler down?
Cant access my schedule details nor can I find any of the stage schedules
After update
Hi dev team. I lost an access to schedule after app update. Can you please fix or roll back?
Full of bugs
API error at every screen

No LinkedIn Connect
Don’t try to build a new network from scratch, it does not work, no one responds here.
This is Web Summit, it deserves a smarter app.

All good
The app gets better every year.
I can’t access anything in the app.
I can’t log in because of a bug in the interests page.
Crashes
In a crash cycle and I can’t get out.
Sigh, wanted to watch the videos

Best Summit Ever
Literally the World Cup of the Innovation and Startup world. Would definitely comeback next year!
Terrible user experience, solid content
You need to re-work the app. The calendar and scheduling work awfully. No synching with apple cal etc. you need to go back to check your chats and then all the way back to cal and vice versa.
Also notifications, especially scheduling requests, don’t have to fall into a wider notification pool. They need to be highlighted differently so that you dont miss to accept any.
