About

WebArchive is an iPhone app for a private media archive connected to your own server. It helps you keep photos and videos under your control, organize them into a structured library, and work with AI-assisted tools without handing your collection over to third-party platforms. With WebArchive you can: • browse your media library by people, places, objects, and related content • open person profiles and jump to connected photos, media objects, and files • use Smart Camera to capture new photos with instant face and animal detection • preview likely person matches before saving a shot • send new photos directly into your archive • open media objects, inspect files, and work with a structured archive view • explore your archive on a map and move from locations to connected media • rotate photos and keep updated previews in sync • connect to your own server and keep your credentials and access token stored locally Why it matters: • your data belongs to you, not to a cloud provider • you decide where the archive is stored and who gets access • you reduce dependence on third-party pricing, restrictions, and sanctions policies • you are free to build your own workflows and tools on top of your archive and API WebArchive is useful for: • personal and family media archives • large photo and video collections • home archive and backup setups • research, local history, and genealogy projects • teams and organizations that need autonomous control over media data WebArchive is more than a gallery. It is the mobile entry point into the ILTERRA MEDIA ARCHIVE ecosystem: capture on iPhone, review on the go, and manage your archive on your own terms.
