Terrific little SSH program
This nice program is intelligently designed and it’s also nice that WebSSH is actually freeware. Thanks to that random developer who created this most convenient program for all of us VPS users and other terminal aficionados.

This is my goto app for ssh on my phone or MacBook. The tools like ping are very nice addition as well!
Good App — Could we get Files integration?
This app is excellent, it just works! Does its job well. I have noticed that there are apps which allow for integrating SFTP files into the iPhone Files app, so that servers can be accessed as though they were local files. I would love to see this feature in WebSSH! (unless it already is?) I would 100% buy the premium version if this change is added.

Great app
Love it. really useful and in current development, the recent addition of various tools such as ping, trace route, Network Scanner are really useful The results are also displayed in a very useful way. I love the way Network scanner displays the whole subnet and highlights the live hosts in green. Really useful.

broken connection
On Mac OS Ventura, the connection drops after about a minute, and there's no setting to change it. This doesn't happen through the Mac OS terminal; the server's timeout settings don't affect it.

Rock-solid tool from a dev who clearly cares
Been putting WebSSH through its paces, and I'm genuinely impressed. I've been a sysadmin for 30 years — enterprise firewalls, network architecture, the whole thing — and I run a Proxmox cluster at home, so I'm not easy to please with SSH tools.
The new Proxmox-over-SSH client (32.5) is smart engineering. Routing everything through SSH instead of exposing the API means no open 8006 port and no token juggling — it just reuses my existing SSH auth. That's a security-conscious design choice, not a gimmick. Multi-node monitoring, quorum and HA status, VM/LXC lifecycle control, snapshots, backups, live CPU/RAM/Net/IO graphs — all clean and readable on both Mac and iPad.
What really gets me is that this is a one-person project, maintained since 2012, and every platform feels equally polished. One-time purchase, no subscription — a rare and welcome thing these days.
A few things I'd love to see next: SMART data for disks, ZFS pool status, and an integrated terminal straight from a container. But those are wishes for an already excellent tool, not complaints.
Respect to the developer. This is what a labor of love looks like. Does he ever sleep?

Good value
If you use ssh a lot, want cloud synced servers via iCloud and its security and a one time fee, a nice hi on phone and tablet, organizational tools and more, try this. I do wish it have a simple terminal for running manual sessions or using Unix like tools locally.

Works Great; Reasonable Fixed Pro Price
I found that WebSSH works great. I was able to use it without any delay hunting around for secret decoder rings. The pro price is fixed and seems very reasonable.
[Added a year later] Another wonderful aspect of WebSSH Pro is the discipline the developer used, taking the time, working diligently to fully architect the user interface completely consistently with Apple's UI guidelines. I hadn't used WebSSH Pro for more than a year. Nevertheless, I was able to SSH into a server for the very first time ever in seconds by cloning another server's profile, then edit the name and IP address. Voilà! I completed the entire session process in a fifth the time it took me to write this paragraph.
Server configurations may be easily stored in one’s iCloud Drive.
Overall, product value is more than excellent.
I would definitely repurchase WebSSH at twice the price.
It just saved so much of my time that it paid for itself all over again today.

use openssh on OpenWrt
In OpenWrt the default ssh package, dropbear, doesn’t work. Install openssh and edit the config 1) to run alongside it on a different port and 2) use the dropbear location for permitted keys.

我试用过很多类似的ssh客户端，默认就支持字体图标的很少，要么就是收费很贵我没有测试。这款软件，我先体验了免费版本的，用起来很舒服。最初tmux遇到点问题ctrl+ b前缀键延迟短的问题，最终通过调整tmux的配置文件解决了。支持ssh得到到剪切板这个功能非常实现，相关的文档好久没更新了，python库要降级才能使用，请作者更新一下文档。已经购买PRO版本，体验很好。iPad版本在外接键盘时有点小瑕疵：有时键盘会失效，要鼠标点一下右上角的键盘一下，物理键盘有没有效，没有图标显示，只能自己试。然后左侧的折叠区，有时无法折叠，点了没有效果，必须键盘敲打一下，在点才会有效。还有就是iPad版本，如果后台用很久了，会遇到一些BUG，要杀进程重进才行。 总体来说这些问题，大多是小概率事件。 支持一下，值得推荐！

I’ve been using WebSSH for years, it can be a life saver. Simple, but powerful. No fluff.
Best ssh client I’ve tried on macOS.
I don’t have anything bad to say. I have been using it for a day and already love it. I like the simple ui, the fact that it is open source, the amount of customisation that can be done, and that it offers tools built in which I would’ve previously needed to go to other sources to use.

Installed today as Termius kept freezing although that worked fine before. So downloaded this app as it had quite high stars. Don’t even need pro but I bought it as I have been happy to do what I’ve needed tonight.

Perfect tool for dev-ops
This is the best SSH, SFTP and general dev-ops terminal app available. It even supports running on macOS natively which is included in the Pro cost. This makes it super easy to configure and sync settings.
It also has all the possible options needed for effective remote use of machines.
Lastly, it is the only app I was able to find that actually supports taps on iOS that work like mouse clicks. This allows it to work perfectly with Zellij for terminal sessions with proper mouse interaction support!
