I have just paid for & downloaded this app onto iPhone17.
It’s very clunky.
I cannot access the Thesaurus, which is why I purchased it, despite searching the inadequate menu.
Tapping on ‘Home’ the top of the Menu -nothing appears. There is no info on how to use the app. Dictionary definitions are brief, in no way comprehensive & don’t match the printed book of Webster Dictionary.
Settings only give a colour choice, nothing else.
I consider this a complete waste of £12.99

Terrible at Guessing MissSpelled Words !
For people that only turn to a dictionary to discover how to spell words, this is terrible at this remaining function !
Annoying pop up
This has an annoying pop-up that attempts to coerce the user into providing a five star rating each time the app is started. One should not be harassed to provide a review like this on paid software.

Compared to Webster or Collins, this can’t compare. It lacks basic words like “flamingo”. Unacceptable. Move on.

Not a thesaurus
I purchased this as a thesaurus. No thesaurus, just a dictionary. Pointless.
Dictionary pretending to be a thesaurus
This is one of the few apps I've purchased and it’s disappointing. There aren't a lot of words - Two out of three words I look up aren't even listed. The *real* hardcover Roget is amazing.

The Webster New World Dictionary and Roget's are wonderful sources for anyone who enjoys writing, students, and writers. They are easy to use and contain up date information. They are invaluable when writing almost any document.

Not as advertised
Not sure where the good reviews are coming from, but reading though these I see I’m not the only one scratching my head. Clunky, incomplete, all but worthless as a dictionary and completely worthless as a thesaurus. In fact, the only place I’ve been able to find anything related to what I would call a “Thesaurus” is on the icon for the App. It sure isn’t actually, you know, within the app itself.

It is not a comprehensive, or well-thought out reference book.
I love the Webster's New World Dictionary and I use it frequently. Thinking this could not be bad, I bought it, but I was mistaken. There are many thesauruses in the market but, for the iPad there are none.
You would be better of with a comprehensive dictionary with built in thesaurus such as Oxford American Dictionary or AHD 5 deluxe version. AHD Fifth Edition has been extremely buggy though.
