Great but a little broken?
I’ve been using Webtoon for years and I absolutely love it, never had a problem with it. But recently it keeps losing connection and crashing? Sometimes I have to watch adds multiple times to open an episode and I keep having to refresh/restart the whole app after about two episodes because it gets stuck and stops showing comments and won’t move onto the next episode etc…
Not a problem with my internet because all other apps work fine. Just something wrong with Webtoon. But I still love it just hope it gets fixed ❤️

The webtoon app in like 2016 was probably the best it’ll be. No ads, no coins, no paying for anything. You got to read everything as it was released, instead of having to wait for it to be free. The app now is just constantly berating me with ads, in-app ads for comics I don’t care about, and “challenges” for coins, which just involves watching ads or reading specific comics that I again do not care about. The comic selection itself is great. I read a lot of the PTJ universe comics. Some of them are finished, which means if I don’t buy them with coins, I’ll have to watch an ad for every episode up to five times in a day to read more. It’s genuinely just an awful reading experience now. Just read elsewhere. This app is frustrating to use.

Too Many Ads
I go to read an episode and there’s an ad playing while I read it… wtaf. I get having to watch ads to unlock an episode, but to have them play when it’s already free and unlocked is annoying and weird.
I just wanted to watch some free stuff
I was really bored so I was watching stuff than I scroll to episodes and you’re making me pay seven coins
Just give me like five daily coins man.
I SWEAR IF I HAVE TO KEEP PLAYING THESE GOD AWFUL GAMES THAT BARELY WORK, JUST TO GET SOME COINS I'M GONNA LOSE IT. THE COMICS IN GENERAL ARE AMAZING, BUT THE FREE COIN SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE. AND WHO EVEN HAS THE MONEY TO PAY SEVEN DOLLARS WORTH FOR LIKE FIVE COINS. PLEASE JUST GIVE ME DAILY COINS, PLEASE!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I love webtoon!!
I love webtoon so much, so many great stories to read by great artists, the only thing that pisses me off is coins
Gotten alot worse recently
Addition of unskippable add in the top of comics when reading, forcing popups when you open the app which you cant even close and uave to click, which when you have a limited number of comics (100) you have in your saved thingy for easy access it boots one out distrupting the user experience. More recently alot of the comics you can really only read 5 chapters for free and it doesnt even tell you that it will unlock for free anymore, while i have noted it does sometimes even though which is very weird??? Anyway all kf these changes led me to only using this to support canvas comics and using the official ones just as recommendations/tasters before going off platform to continue reading.

Love Webtoon and and everything on it! I there’s just some features I think would be cool to add. First of all, PLEASE CAN WE UPLOAD WEBTOONS ON MOBILE! 🙏🙏 And I think it’d been cool if there was a read later option in case you don’t have time to currently read it
Excellent with room for improvement
One thing I’d change is putting the comments entirely out of sight, so to look at them at all, I’d have to click a button. It’s really bothersome and lot of other readers are obnoxious, and their comments equally so.
Fix this
I tried signing up and I didn't want it to send me emails so I selected the button to not send me emails then the next step was to verify my email which required it to have access to my email but I had nothing in my inbox and it won't let me try again with the same email cause it just tells me to go to my inbox and verify it
