Please stay away (an actual review)
I got a promo that took 5 months to settle rather than the 1-2 weeks the advertised for an account transfer. I ultimately got the platform to honor my grandfathered promotion, the operational process behind account transfers is incredibly flawed. My transfer experienced a delay from my old broker, and instead of holding or notifying me, Webull's system was on the verge of completely dropping it. It only went through because I proactively followed up with both sides multiple times.
To top it off, support later claimed I "missed out" on other options that they literally never told me existed until I asked. The app interface is fine, but the customer service and transfer logistics require way too much manual effort from the user. Don't set it and forget it.
(This was talking to support through email and call, the context is Webull is unreliable and put your money where you can trust like big banks or even wealthsimple)

P&L for Live account is confusing
P&L page for paper money is set up so much better than for the live account. Really annoys me.

Way too complicated
Good if you are a true day trader, but should not have all options all the time. Simple graphs with highs and lows suffice for the great majority of users.
Scam
Do not download this app or use this app I repeat do not use this app!! it is charging me $.79 a month for absolutely nothing and it will not let me log into my account to delete my account so now I will be charged $.79 every month for absolutely nothing and there’s no way I can delete my account. It is an absolute joke and a scam. There are so many other better apps to use for training

Just download Wealthsimple, they do everything better. This app basically put 1c into my account then implemented a 79c monthly account fee. I tried to close my account but I can’t unless it’s $0.0 so I had to deposit another $5 just to 0 out the account to close it. Pretty greasy scam
Predatory policy. MUST AVOID
As of May 27, 2026, Webull put out monthly fees for all accounts that takes place on June 1, 2026. They give people 2 business days to act, and it takes 3 business days to delete an account. THIS AN ENTIRELY RIGGED SYSTEM THAT IS ANTI CONSUMER . I hope you guys face a lawsuit over this.
Removing commissions in Canada
Removing commissions in Canada was a game changer. Everything else on this app makes it so easy to trade.
FHSA WHENNNNN???
I’ve been using this app for a while and I will say that it was the best decision ever. Solid features with low commission fees. Great charts and great promotions, with easy to understand UI. Overall a 10/10 app.

Everything is great. The app is Easy to understand aswell as easy to use.
The only thing i would suggest is to expand more options on group orders that way day traders and swing traders have more options to implement trading strategies.

Free commission
In Canada, major competitors such as Wealthsimple and Questrade already provide free trades for stocks and ETFs. As a result, many investors naturally gravitate toward platforms where trading costs are minimized.
If Webull wants to expand its presence and compete effectively in Canada, adopting a commission-free model for stocks and ETFs would be logical and necessary step.

Sucks
Webull is the worse platform. Their conversation fee is crazy. I paid over 50$ for it. And their service sucks. After I pull my money. I will delete this garbage app. Better to use Questrade or momo
