Didn’t know about an app for the composting community. Easy to use - even gives you directions to the nearest compost drop off site. Love earning rewards and learning more about reducing food waste. Sharing with my friends.

Composting has always been something I’ve wanted to do but not something I devoted my resources to figuring out. This app has made me realize that composting (especially in NYC) is super simple once you identify your drop-off spot—which Wecycle makes it super easy to do. (It’s literally like the Uber of composting!)
Composting is great for the environment but it’s also super fun to use this app because you get rewarded each time you drop off. I’m sharing this with all my NYC friends—both experienced composters and newbies—because I truly think everyone will find it so helpful and fun to use.
The app also has tons of informative composting resources (it will truly take you back to middle school biology in the best way), and I find this knowledge generally makes me so much more aware of food waste and how I consume.

Makes composting easy
Each time I travel, or move, I have trouble finding out where to drop off my food scraps. This app makes it easy to find drop off spots and it’s nice to be part of a growing community!
