Downloaded this countdown to use but soon as you have downloaded it you have to pay to use it. There is no free option and it doesn’t even say before you download the app that you have to pay until you have fully downloaded it and open the app.

Love the idea. Paywall a dealbreaker.
I just wanted a nice little counter to countdown our wedding. But once you download the app there is no free option. You have agree to the 7 day free trial and then it’s £1.79 a week. If it’s a paid app show the cost in the App Store. No wait until you download it to find it’s useless unless you pay.

The description says “*some* of the features of this app are only available after in-app purchases” but in reality THE WHOLE APP, its main and only use depends on the weekly purchase.
So it’s not “some features” but “you can’t use this app if you don’t pay”.
It’s ok for an app to be available only for those who pay for it, but it’s not ok to write something on the description and completely do the opposite in the app.
