Latest update leaves stupid screen overlays about signing up for weather updates, etc. GET THIS FIXED!!!
AND LEAVE USERS ALONE, they know what they want and need!!!!
Thought this was a great app until update wiped out all entries and info. Utter garbage! System calendar may not have as many features but at least it keeps data!

My Best App
This my third review of 5 stars for Week Calendar. The first app I ever bought because it was and continues to be my go to app (I can’t remember the purchase date -15+ years?) and continue to use and rely on it each and every day. This app alone makes a smart phone useful to me. Versatile, reliable, customizable, and user friendly. My number one go to app.

Can’t look past the current month cause I don’t have a “pro subscription”. Funny thing is, I paid for the pro version when this app first came out but they no longer honor it now that they charge by subscription. I should be grandfathered in!
PLEASE FIX THIS!!
Since the most recent update July 2nd or 3rd 2026, when I open an item to check or revise details, I cannot then get out of it to check another item because it stays frozen on the screen. I can only close the app and open again to continue.

WARNING!!! LOST ALL ENTRIES TWICE!!!!!!
I have used this app for at least 10 years if not more and have absolutely loved it!! Never any issues whatsoever until about a year and a half ago, I pulled up my calendar and EVERYTHING was GONE…past, present, and future!! I contacted the developer and they said it had something to do with the native iPhone calendar overwriting the app’s entries. They offered some suggestions on how I could possibly restore my data. However, I tried everything that was still possible with no success. Because I love the app so much I came to terms with the devastating loss and moved forward. While I had not fully recovered from the loss of recurring annual entries such as detailed birthday input, anniversaries, special dates etc I was on my way to rebuilding my calendar for scheduling purposes. But then a couple days ago I pulled up my calendar and EVERY page and view was BLANK AGAIN!!! I turned my phone off and on multiple times thinking that a restart might solve it but still blank. This morning I decided to delete the app and reinstall. However, once app was deleted and reinstalled I was not able to get past a subscription page to access my calendar now. I paid for an upgrade years ago to have advanced features, but when I hit restore, I got a “Restored” message but the subscription page did not go away. After having lost ALL of my data TWICE all trust of this app is gone!! I would not pay any amount of money to have it at this point! Was debating whether or not to even stay with it period, but I needed the information I’d lost so was doing what I could to at least retrieve it!!! They had a really good thing while it lasted but would not recommend it now.

Not liking this update 😬
Now it’s broken. Every time I open an appointment for details, I can’t close out of it. It stays frozen on the screen. I have to completely close out the app and get back into it. Please fix this ASAP!
Excellent Agenda
I have been using this calendar for over 10 years - it is excellent, the key positive for me is the agenda view. It has a layout that is just like my week to a page diary was years ago, and that’s how my brain likes to work.
It has all the functions of the apple diary, and more - so I wouldn’t be without it!

Hard to get support
There contact us request you pay a premium to get help, but can’t get past this to get help. Problem is on iPad going to next month, if goes to January 2001. It’s a great calendar but this problem has persisted for years.
Good app, easy to use
Really easy to use. Color coding events help identify them. Monthly/weekly/daily views easy to work with. Like the fact that updating my iPad updates iPhone

If you already have a google account this is very easy . I now use this as my main business diary as I need to share with my partner so we can see each others bookings

***Edit: I wrote this review originally on 5/30/26, mentioning the $160 “unlock all” option. It was listed at the time of writing, and now - three days later - that option has also been removed. No response from devs. This goes to my point about their money hungry ways. OG Review follows next. // No longer worth it. I was an early adopter and paid a one-time upgrade fee for PRO in 2012. I was to have access to everything and all future upgrades. Now that prices have gone up, they are extorting me to upgrade to a subscription, when I already paid my dues as an early adopter. Even the one-time “everything unlocked” upgrade has increased 80x to $159.99. I already paid for my one time access to everything, but they are money hungry wanting early adopters to pay more. Now every time I open my app and try to do something, it takes me to, and locks me on, the upgrade screen. I have “restored” successfully repeatedly, but it does nothing. I had recommended this app countless times over the years, but it’s worthless to me now. They do not appreciate customers who made them the success they are today. Searching for new product.

Pricey
I like this app a lot, especially its list view, which is what I primarily use. However just the base subscription is very expensive for few features. And then the pro version is a little bit more for more features than I even need. Would be nice if there was a smaller base cost and an in between cost with just a few more of the key features included. Going to keep looking and only pay for this if I can’t find something else.

Pushes in every way for purchasing upgrades…terrible feeling
Have been using weekcal since the beginning. It only gets worse after every updates. Pushing to purchase upgrades by limiting functions step by step, making it impossible to use if you don’t pay. Recent updates limits the font to only 10pt which is small and only can use the tools(copy&past etc) for 5 times. In general, terrible experience. I would look for alternatives.

Week Calendar is my essential organizer!
I have used Week Calendar for years, starting with the free version when it first launched, I think. I particularly enjoy the ability to assign icons and calendars to different events on either an automatic or individual basis. This lets me see at a glance which are work appointments and which are personal, leisure, or family. I also rely on the app to synch all my calendars in one place—a particularly useful feature when my workplace has used one system and my household uses another. I’ve never tried the weather feature, but I am thinking of adding that.
