Really good..
I’m a long time (10+ years) fantastical user who got this calendar app because I like the way it looked on my watch. As I have inadvertently began using this as my primary calendar I am optimistic about replacing fantastical. So far this has been great!

Previous review: I really like the simplicity and straightforward GUI of Week Plan Calendar. It offers a refreshing view of one’s time over more complex calendar apps. I do wish, however, that in the weather feature, precipitation could be displayed in inches. As it exists, the only choice is millimeters. Recommended.

Great layout - would love to see color customization
I’ve been looking for a free calendar app that uses a vertical week view like this one to replace my old app, which I still loved — I had a lifetime purchase on it, which has now unfortunately expired to an “upgraded platform” that is only available as a monthly subscription — not cool!!
This app has the right layout and is very user-friendly. It’s the only one I’ve found that works the way I want it to visually.
I would love to see the color heading be customizable - the orangey-red default setting is not my taste.
I would also love to be able to customize the color of individual calendar events regardless of which calendar they import from.
Still, it’s the best alternative I’ve found yet for my long-time favorite calendar app, so I’m thankful this one is out there and free! 🙌🏼☺️

Having some trouble getting events (especially tasks) to show up, otherwise is great on both phone and watch

Glad to hear! 🙂 Can you give one example of a task not showing up? Did you allow access to reminders? All-Day reminders are always presented last for each day. You can scroll each of the 7 days individually in the week view.
Laggy
I really like the layout of this app and I want to use it, but it is getting crushed under the weight of my calendars. I'm a bit of a power user and it seems to be fetching the data more than it needs to, every time I change the view I'm in?
Instantly changed how I use my phone
Excellent app which just works, and brings a handy and information dense way of viewing my calendar events. I love the week view on my phone, the time-line color coding, and on my watch I love being able to see all my upcoming events (and count down to!) at a glance. The developer even made it possible to set the font size independent on the watch and my phone. All this an the app is under 10 Mb. Unheard of in this day and age of bloated apps.

Great app! Easy to read and navigate
I had given up on using my phone calendar, but this app is so useful and easy to use that I’ll be using it from now on.
It’s come in handy several times already. I love having my schedule in the palm of my hand!

This app is spot on. It offers everything I expect from a calendar app but comes with a great design. It is very clean and allows an overview of your whole week with many events.

in place of system calendar
Apple‘s calendar does not seem to accommodate users who have more than just 1 or 2 events per day.
Other calendar apps are often way too expensive and seem to solve problems by using micro fonts.
The „Weekplan Calender“ however provides a great overview of all my calendars, events and todos. It is the only app which presents the whole week vertically. It feels like my old paper calendar, but interactive and very slick.
