Very good

I’ve used lots of calendar apps. This one is my favourite. Seamless integration of events and tasks/reminders into a comprehensive timeline.
Pay £2.99 per year for optional weather forecast - it’s a clever design and I use it more than my weather app.
You do need to have notifications activated for Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders as this app doesn’t have its own notification setup - but it’s not a problem, just something to be aware of. Highly recommended.

Nice but needs a few adjustments

This is a nice looking calendar, but a bit heavy on the animation. Page turn animation need to be optional, needs week view widget

I cannot compress all infos of one week into one small widget. Or are you talking about just a plain month view without event infos / maybe just a little dot per event?

Nachtrag: meine Bewertung habe ich von 4 auf 5 Sterne geändert, da der Fehler vom Entwickler kurzfristig behoben wurde. Dafür vielen Dank.

Grundsätzlich bin ich mit der App sehr, sehr zufrieden und ist auf all meinen Geräten die #1. Allerdings plage ich mich auf meinem Mac Mini (macOS 15.7.3) mit einem kleinen Problem herum. Das Kennzeichen (aktuelles Datum) auf dem Appsymbol aktualisiert sich nicht selbstständig. Erst wenn ich die App gestartet und beendet habe, bekommt das Appsymbol das richtige Tagesdatum als Kennzeichen verpasst. Das ist für mich oft irritierend. Wenn das behoben wird, gibt es von mir auch volle 5 Sterne.

Great app

Perfect views with enough flexibility to switch months, search, or get an overview. I love the extra touches like the emoji support for the mini view.

The only downside is I wish it wasn't so reliant on the default calendar app, which I prefer to uninstall but need to keep around for tweaking settings. But that's minor and this app is great!

Schnell und übersichtlich

Läuft auf Mac, iPad und iPhone und hilft die Termine der Familie übersichtlich darzustellen. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

C’est l’oiseau rare! Agenda très complexe à la première vue, logique et affichages précis, lisibilité sans faille, je suis très agréablement surpris. Le nom allemand décourage un peu l’utilisateur français, mais on découvre vite sa richesse cachée. Bravo pour les concepteurs!

Ungenaue Uhrzeit im Widget

Grundsätzlich ist die App wirklich toll. Besonders gut gefällt mir der klar strukturierte und benutzerfreundliche Kalender. Allerdings habe ich ein kleines Anliegen hinsichtlich des Uhrenwidgets, das einige Minuten nachgeht. Der Entwickler erwähnte mir gegenüber sinngemäß, dass dies eine Vorgabe von Apple sei; Widgets dürfen sich wohl nicht unbegrenzt häufig aktualisieren. Dem steht aber entgegen, dass es im App Store schon lange zahlreiche andere Apps mit Uhrenwidgets gibt, die selbst eine sekundengenaue Zeit ermöglichen. Ich halte es für unwahrscheinlich, dass diese Apps über einen so langen Zeitraum ohne Einschränkungen durch Apple verfügbar wären, wenn eine genaue Zeitanzeige gegen Apples Richtlinien verstöße.

Es gibt die Einstellung "auffällige Hintergrundfarben" - damit kann man aus dem roten Balken eine rote Linie machen. Rot ist ein zentrales Gestaltungselement der App, die damit die Gegenwart kennzeichnet (aktueller Tag, Monat, Jahr etc.) Man könnte diese Farbe vielleicht wirklich mal konfigurierbar machen. Andererseits soll der Kalender so einfach wie möglich zu bedienen sein. Das mit den Terminerinnerungen kommt im nächsten Update in die App-Beschreibung, damit damit niemand mehr enttäuscht wird. Die sind leider aufgrund wiederholender Terminregeln sehr komplex umzusetzen, ziehen aufgrund der häufigen Aktualisierungen viel Energie und können am Ende dann leider doch nicht mit dem Apple-Kalender mithalten, weil dieser als einziger Änderungen an geteilten Kalendern in Echtzeit erhält. Ich möchte das Feature damit in Zukunft nicht ausschließen, aber kostenlose / werbefreie / unsubventionierte Apps müssen sich tatsächlich ganz genau überlegen, wo sie ihre vorhandene Zeit reinstecken.

I’m a long time (10+ years) fantastical user who got this calendar app because I like the way it looked on my watch. As I have inadvertently began using this as my primary calendar I am optimistic about replacing fantastical. So far this has been great!

schönes, funktionale Übersicht

Ich habe die App auf iPhone, iPad und Mac (M1) installiert. Sie läuft überall einwandfrei. Mit der Konfiguration muss man sich ein wenig beschäftigen und ausprobieren, was für einen passend ist, z. B. die 2. Spalte nicht automatisch als 2. Spalte darstellen, sondern nur bei Bedarf reinziehen. Gut gefällt mir, dass die App fleißig weiter entwickelt wird. Obwohl man die App umsonst nutzen kann, nur für den optionalen Wetterdienst wird ein kleiner jährlicher Obolus fällig, antwortet der Support schnell.

Great calendar app

Updated review: Thanks for the new update in which the units for precipitation have been addressed. Much appreciated. Five star app for certain!

Previous review: I really like the simplicity and straightforward GUI of Week Plan Calendar. It offers a refreshing view of one’s time over more complex calendar apps. Great layout - would love to see color customization

I’ve been looking for a free calendar app that uses a vertical week view like this one to replace my old app, which I still loved — I had a lifetime purchase on it, which has now unfortunately expired to an “upgraded platform” that is only available as a monthly subscription — not cool!!

This app has the right layout and is very user-friendly. It’s the only one I’ve found that works the way I want it to visually.

I would love to see the color heading be customizable - the orangey-red default setting is not my taste.

I would also love to be able to customize the color of individual calendar events regardless of which calendar they import from.

Still, it’s the best alternative I’ve found yet for my long-time favorite calendar app, so I’m thankful this one is out there and free! 🙌🏼☺️

Having some trouble

Glad to hear! 🙂 Can you give one example of a task not showing up? Did you allow access to reminders? All-Day reminders are always presented last for each day. You can scroll each of the 7 days individually in the week view.

I really like the layout of this app and I want to use it, but it is getting crushed under the weight of my calendars. I'm a bit of a power user and it seems to be fetching the data more than it needs to, every time I change the view I'm in?

Instantly changed how I use my phone

Excellent app which just works, and brings a handy and information dense way of viewing my calendar events. I love the week view on my phone, the time-line color coding, and on my watch I love being able to see all my upcoming events (and count down to!) at a glance. The developer even made it possible to set the font size independent on the watch and my phone. All this an the app is under 10 Mb. Unheard of in this day and age of bloated apps.

Guter Kalender

Ich benutze diesen Kalender schon einige Zeit und bin zufrieden. Der Kalender verfügt über eine gute Übersicht, insbesondere die Wochenübersicht. Die Bedienung ist einfach und selbsterklärend. Einen Sternabzug gibt es für die Terminanlegung: Das eine ist die Hinweiseinstellung. Da kann ich keinen eigenen Zeitpunkt anwählen. Z. B. wenn ich morgens einen Termin habe und den Tag zuvor abends erinnert werden möchte, also 12 Stunden. Geht leider nicht. Das andere Problem ist der Suchvorschlag. Wenn ich einen Termin benennen möchte, schlägt er mir nichts vor. Das ist sehr hilfreich, wenn man neue Termine eingeben muss, die schon häufig zuvor vorkamen. Der IOS Kalender macht es zum Beispiel.

Wirklich praktisch!

Nach vielen anderen Kalender-Apps bin ich bei Wochenplan gelandet. Diese zunächst sehr schlichte zweispaltige Oberfläche erweist sich als absolut alltagstauglich: übersichtlich, schnell, ganz und gar unkompliziert. Niemandem werden in dieser App Fummeleien abverlangt, sie ist einfach da. Punkt.
Wünschenswert wären frei zu vergebende Farben für Kalender-Einträge.

Danke! :) Die Farbe der Kalendereinträge richtet sich immer an der Kalenderfarbe, die ausschließlich in der iOS-Kalender App konfiguriert werden kann. Man kann einzelnen Kalendereinträgen aber auch im Titel ein Emoji voranstellen - damit wären sie dann auch in der Monatsansicht unabhängig von der Farbe klar erkennbar.

I had given up on using my phone calendar, but this app is so useful and easy to use that I’ll be using it from now on.
It’s come in handy several times already. I love having my schedule in the palm of my hand!
