WeFish is a comprehensive fishing application that allows users to create a detailed fishing diary, access accurate fishing forecasts powered by real data, and analyze their catches. It also provides meteorological information, offers fishing challenges, and includes a marketplace for buying and selling fishing equipment.
The fishing forecast system, FishGuru, is based on analyzing over 500,000 registered catches to understand species behavior patterns. It provides insights into fishing activity by area and species, effective modalities, recommended baits, lures, and their colors for specific locations.
The app is free to download and use, offering core features for logging and forecasting. However, it does have in-app purchases, which likely relate to premium features, advanced analytics, or marketplace transactions.
The fishing marketplace supports the buying and selling of all types of fishing equipment, including rods, reels, lines, baits, lures, kayaks, boats, hooks, and float tubes. You can also find fishing trips and guide services.
Yes, your catch location information is kept private. The app ensures that no one else will know your specific fishing spots, allowing you to log your catches and locations with confidence.
