About

WeftBook is a practical notebook for handweavers—built for drafting on the loom. DESIGN YOUR DRAFT Edit threading, tie-up, and treadling on clear grids. Watch the drawdown update as you work, with cross-highlighting that shows how each end, shaft, treadle, and pick connects. Name drafts, add notes, and keep recent work ready on your home dashboard. START FROM STRUCTURES Browse the structure library and clone a weave into an editable draft so you can begin with a working pattern instead of a blank grid. Adjust shafts and treadles to match your loom. YARDAGE & SETT TOOLS Use the yardage calculator to plan warp and weft from sett (EPI), finished size, item count, loom waste, and structure factor. Use the sett estimator with yarn WPI to get a recommended epi range and check whether a target sett is plausible for that yarn. TRACK PROJECTS ON THE LOOM Log yards woven, follow progress against your yarn budget, and see yards remaining on the current warp. The home screen surfaces yards woven year-to-date and what’s on the loom now—so you always know where you stand. BUILT FOR THE STUDIO A calm paper-and-ink layout with draft-sheet styling keeps focus on the work. Everything stays on your device for everyday studio use—no account required to explore drafts, calculators, and project tracking. Whether you weave towels, scarves, or yardage, WeftBook helps you draft clearly, buy yarn wisely, and finish what you put on the loom. Questions or ideas?
