The app interface isn't screen reader friendly for the blind. The only things in the app that are labeled are the goal start and that's all. The high and low volume are also labeled. The illistration isn't much use to anyone with a visual impairment

Exactly what I wanted. Soon as u open the app it prompts u to add your weight. No fluff or other stuff. Please don’t change it 🙏

New update removed the ability to enter your weigh in
I have loved this app but the new update has removed the ability to enter your daily weight. If its there there hasn’t been any in app guidance about where it is now (and I’ve looked in everything I can click on). The link to request support just goes to a page advertising Vekt. The in-app contact us only lets you log feedback and not a case. I have a paid subscription so I’m less than pleased that I have lost the basic functionality of the app.

Really good when used with iPhone
I love the app and been using it for the past few years. It functions well and as expected on iPhone, however its Watch companion often loses plot and decides to present setup screen almost every time to a point where I just stick to using Vekt in iOS. Is there anyway the sync could be improved? Maybe via iCloud?

Progress tracking over weight tracking
This app has a long way to go but it is different. Kind of like how i can focuses on my progress weight not my fat weight. I did not realize i could just put my weight in on my watch, but it is cool.
2 Requests for the developers 1. Can you make on the app widget to where it can also just display my weight loss numbers with a big negative sign in front. That would motivate the heck out of me.

My Favorite Weight Tracking App
As a Vekt user for the past several years, the initial releases in the first quarter of this year got off to a rocky start. There was a big overhaul of the app by some new developers that resulted in some growing pains.
As of April 3, 2024 things are looking great. I like this new interface now even more than the original one.
The UI has brought back useful features that got "lost" during the big UI overhaul. I emailed the developers, who were friendly and responsive. They were receptive to learn about unexpected ways their app had been used in the past and immediately sprung into action improving their app to rectify any deficiencies.
I have been happy with Vekt for several years now, and after this latest release plan on using it for the foreseeable future.
It is a simple and elegant interface to track your went, with lots of interesting data calculated for you. It's reasonably priced and the don't collect or track your data. What more can you ask for from an app like this?

Weight loss tracker
Love this app. It’s simple and easy to use. I use it to track my weight and the amount of kg lost. Wish the graph was a little more robust, but it’s sufficient for what I need now
More “features” <> better
I have used this app for years and have absolutely loved it. I could just open it, slide to the day’s weigh-in value, and close. Simple, clean, and functional.
With the recent updates, I can still live with it I guess, but the interface is noisy and it now takes a few clicks to simply add a new weigh-in.
Unfortunately, with the very latest update, the app now just blinks on and off. While I presume this will be fixed with another update soon, what was a seamless experience has become a hassle. I didn’t really think about the app each morning, and now I do. And not in a positive way.
As it stands now I am unlikely to renew.

Paying customers lost everything
I was a paying customer and the widgets are gone. Not renewing.
Broken - Do Not Update
The most recent update in February 2024 completely erases all your settings and weight history. Avoid updating if you care about this.

Crappy app, delete it
App has a few glitches, it won't let you save a goal weight. I've reset, deleted, even re-added the app and the same problems arise.
Doesn't let you save you height (even when you try 5-10x?)
Mine keeps saying my goal weight is "59.9 lbs???" 80 lbs to go... so annoying. Can't change that no matter how many times I try 🤦🏼♂️
The app used to be good, now I feel like I've wasted my money buying it. I would reccomend not buying it, and saving your money. Frustrating.

[New Response as of 13 Feb 2024] We are a new development team, just received the app, and are currently working diligently to make improvements to this app and continue the legacy of the original developers. We just released our first update today and plan to make many more over the next coming year. The paywall, for instance, will be modified, so people can use basic features for free. We plan to make improvements to the dashboard, so it's easier to understand one's weight progress. Locked out of data
Used to be free, went back into the app to see my records but now I can’t even view my history. I don’t mind paying but at least let me see my history first and evaluate whether the app is worth buying…
In the past it was very fine
But no support for old users and forcing subscription is a no - no for me. Sorry. 1/5 stars.
Works on Apple Watch… only
For some reason, the application hasn’t been tested to work on Apple Watch first and then iOS second.
After you have granted the access privileges to Apple health on Apple Watch app, you cannot go through the introductory set up on the iOS version of the application. It just loops around and neither asks you for privileges nor checks whether they have been granted

Way to say thanks to your old users.
I donated $5 or was it $10? to this developer years ago before he decided to do a subscription model and now I have to pay $18 or sign up for an ongoing subscription to use an app I already voluntarily paid for?
I get it - why bother making the effort to take care of people whose money you already have when you’re focused bringing in new customers, but come on.
p.s. The functionality is not worth $18 to me. I’ll find something else.

Requires immediate subscription
I don’t often review apps, but in this case it’s warranted.
You install this “free” app with in app purchases, then find you can’t actually do anything with it at all until you agree to a subscription. Yes, you get a trial but that’s besides the point - you’re still agreeing to a recurring subscription unless you cancel - before you’ve even evaluated the app.
You shouldn’t have to agree to a subscription at all to evaluate a basic app like this - when did this become a thing, and more to the point, why has this become a thing? It’s incredibly anti user.
Surely a time limit or restricted features would be more appropriate? Might as well just make it a paid app.
