About

WeighTooMuch is a calorie and weight tracker. You log what you eat, it adds up the calories and macros, and it shows you what's happened over the last week, month or year. Logging food Scan a barcode with the camera, photograph a nutrition label, search a food database, or type the numbers in yourself. Foods you've logged before come up first when you search, and you can save meals you eat regularly so a repeat breakfast takes one tap instead of four. A food's page shows its calories and a breakdown of protein, carbs and fat. Where the food data includes them, it also shows fiber, sodium, sugars and eight other nutrients against the recommended daily values, counting everything else you've eaten that day. Seeing where you are The home screen shows calories left for the day and how protein, fat and carbs are tracking against your targets. Trends shows calories, macros and weight over 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, a year, or everything you've logged, with your averages for the period. Weight Log your weight whenever you weigh in, and correct an entry later if you need to. The chart handles gaps: weighing in twice a week won't break it. Goals Set a calorie target yourself, or let the app work one out from your height, weight, age and activity level. Siri Ask Siri to add food, log your weight or show your trends, and the app opens on that screen. What it doesn't do There's no social feed and nothing that nags you. Your data is yours: export your food log and weight history as CSV whenever you want, and delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, without emailing anyone to ask. The food database is shared, so a packaged food someone adds by its barcode can be found by everyone who scans it. Foods you type in without a barcode stay private to you, and your food log, weight and goals are never shared with anyone. About the app WeighTooMuch is built and run by one person, on a server they manage themselves.
