Scam and fraud
I have contacted these guys on customer support help and asking them to refund transactions for last 4 months as they never informed in email or writing about the recurring subscription. There is no billing recurring arrangement except the initial trial offer that I signed up.I have not availed their service and it was only included as trial in the initial purchase of a customised welcome baby book. No further notice of renewal of service or email was sent to inform me of a recurring subscription. This is not allowed in Australian consumer law. I have escalated the matter with the digital fraudulent handling department. I urge Apple Store to review release of such apps on the app store.

Compré un libro y automáticamente se descargó esta app en la cual nunca me registré ni usé, aun así me cobraron cada mes 28,90 euro a través de mi PayPal sin ni siquiera enviar un aviso por mail mensual del cobro de esta cifra. Se renueva automáticamente sin aviso, todo meticulosamente hecho para pasar desapercibido.

Scamming people with this subscription what they haven’t chosen is low. I ordered the book and that was only thing I wanted. I didn’t even use this free month trial and you have created me some subscription without my permission. I emailed them about this matter and they take no responsibility about it. Be careful with this company, it seems to be fraud.

Do not trust this company. A happy purchase turns out to be a very disappointing one. They charge you with subscriptions without your knowledge or consent. Very misleading and unethical. This is a complete scam. They have charged me with 49AUD every fortnight for an app I did not subscribe to and would not want to refund when I ask them to.
They are not trustworthy and only cares about taking honest peoples hard earned money. Shameless.

I regretfully say: DON’T order anything from this service provider. Apple should block their app from here, as it appears to support fraudulent scams and deceive customers.
I ordered a book and was charged additional fees during checkout, which is not right. I’m not sure if they would refund those fees if I canceled and requested a refund.
They also charged me for subscriptions I did not subscribe to.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had.

This is a big SCAM!! Beware of the hidden $30.99 monthly subscription you sign up for when you purchase a physical book from this company! They would not send any confirmations or reminders of any payments so you would not even know you’re paying unless you constantly check your bank statements
Subscription scam
I’m sure this is a great app if you sign up for it willingly. However, I, as well as other reviews I’m reading, were signed up for a subscription unknowingly. Quite a dishonest practice to get $30.99. Of course they canceled my subscription once I was notified by my credit card company, but they will not honor a refund. Don’t buy anything from this company if you don’t want to subscribe to their monthly app fee because you will be charged without notice.

Unauthorized charge/theft
I purchased the book, nothing more, and never touched their app, never created an account, and never agreed to any kind of ongoing service. Yet I’m still being charged a subscription fee, just like so many others have reported. It’s incredibly frustrating to see a company rely on this kind of misleading setup, where customers are pulled into recurring payments they never intended to sign up for. These tactics feel less like an honest business model and more like a deliberate attempt to squeeze revenue through confusion and obscurity, and it really undermines trust in the brand.

Unauthorised subscription charges for months
I purchased the book and downloaded the app as I was mentioned in email but I later discovered that unauthorised subscription charges have been deducted without any consent or information that there will be such subscription.
What makes this worse is that none of these charges appear in my App Store subscriptions, and there is no “Welcome Baby” subscription listed anywhere in app as well. So there was no way for me to see, manage, or cancel anything. The charges were completely unexpected and taken without my consent.
I have now contacted the team requesting a full refund, as this is a payment I did not authorise. I hope this gets resolved quickly, but others should be aware of this issue before downloading or buying the book.

Horrible experience,horrible customer support
Was charged for this application without consent.On the purchase of a book was charged for the app without my knowledge and they just won’t understand that I never used it ,and all the staff after so many emails back and forth are extremely unhelpful and keep sending you the same email with no resolution.

First,they slyly charge you,agree that they did so ,empathaise and don’t do anything about it after,I have all that on email.Clearly,they have to deceive people,coz their product is not worth wasting your money on.

I feel that this company is quite dishonest but dies so in a sneaky way. I purchased a physical book. I do not understand how or why this purchase was associated with a subscription. I did not want or even use anything related to this and no follow up emails were sent out once the automatically applied free trial ended. I’ve now spent over $150 on a subscription I was not aware of nor did I approve. Very upset with this, if I had wanted an ebook or digital product of any kind I could maybe understand why this subscription was automatically started but I’m not sure why I need a subscription for the physical product I ordered. I have since cancelled my service and would have done so months ago if this company had some integrity and sent out a “your subscription is about to renew” email or anything of that sort instead of hiding the subscription at the bottom of my order.
Just overall super disappointed with this company and it makes me not even interested in the product I actually consented to buying.
