Welcome to Country
There definitely needs to have Wiradjuri mob in it should be included like the others Mandaang guwu- thank you
Fantastic Resource
Thank you to Tyson and the team from WSM Digital for a practical and easy to use App.
Needs an update BADLY
This app would be fantastic if it had all the tribes listed. I travel all over NSW and would like to know the lands I’m visiting so I can acknowledge the traditional owners. Please update. Even the Wollongong mob are missing. Shame!
Keep updating please!!
Awesome idea, needs to be completed though, only has a few countries so far. Excited to see how this app develops and how it can be used to raise awareness of country
Location, search and sound issues
I really love this idea as this is what I was looking for, but coming south from mildura the app put me in SA and then NSW. And no sound in the welcome to country. I hope this app improves cos it’s well needed.
More tribes
You mob need to add way more data. This is a great idea, please don’t abandon this project!
Lovely concept, not really working
Why is my app just always locked to the heart of Sydney CBD? I love this app in concept but am a bit perplexed by its execution. Regrettably uninstalling :(
Excellent idea but audio not working on iPhone XR
Audio works fine on an older iPad Pro, so I suspect it might be a problem with the newer Apple hardware?
A great idea but needs more info
I really like the idea of having a reference guide to nations and people all around Australia. Unfortunately the nations nearest to me aren’t on there yet. I hope to see them soon.
So happy to have this info.
Should be standard issue on every mobile in Australia.
Thankyou
This app is such a great concept and I look forward to seeing it grow.
There seems to be no sound coming thru on the Larrakia video

Fantastic idea
I understand the incredible complexity in creating an app such as this. But I agree with a previous reviewer around the automatic directing to the nearest nation that's in the app. I was sitting just south of Beenleigh and the app took me to Bundjalung country. I will definitely be sharing word of the app to encourage people to contact creators so that more comprehensive and accurate data can be put out there.

Good start, but ...
Why is so much cultural info in past tense, like a history lesson?
We are still here doing what we do.
Also GPS seems to be picking the closest, but not the right Peoples Country :( ... Would be better if it just highlighted neighbours if the info isn't there :)
Hope it helps.

Ok, but where next?
I see the major tribes represented and the app is a useful tool however there are many countries that are not, it's a bit half baked. A map to discover nations would be great and also including endemic information about these areas will make it a lot more interesting. Conflicted about the app being supported by a liquefied natural gas company so let's hope future updates don't present a affronted agenda.

Great app, but big problem
I totally support this app and the service it provides.
I only have one big problem, which is that when it didn't recognise that I'm in Jagara country, in West End, Brisbane, rather than saying so, it told me I was in the country of the nearest group it could find, which was one on the Sunshine Coast.
I can imagine people who don't already know the local people then believing the local country is of a different group.
I would much rather have the app tell visitors to West End that the local country's indigenous custodian group hasn't been identified at this stage, and then to give a generic welcome to country...
Please fix this, and I will definitely bump up my rating!

Marvellous
Congratulations on a well overdue app. Great information. Looking forward to watching it grow. I will be telling all my friends.
Disappointing
There are only nine indigenous nations in Tasmania yet only three are listed. The information provided in the 'people and culture' tab is woefully inadequate. A great idea but the app seriously under delivers.
Simple, excellent
What a great service! I look forward to seeing this database grow.
Amazeballs
Awesome. Just had a 'why hasn't anyone thought of this / tech really can be amazing' moment
Highly recommended
Great idea, well executed - many thanks
