Great app with some caveats

I love it, gets the job done for my harpsichord and its so affordable and easier than the highly technical tuning apps. Only problem is if I try to search for different tuning systems it draws a blank suggestion box. if I click on the blank suggestion box it will change the tuning system, but I cant see what it has changed to till I click on it, and cannot get it back to the previous setting. I’m guessing this is due to my old iPhone 8+, but just thought I’d drop a line about it.

Works amazingly!

Everything on this app is very good, and it’s great to support a musician who made a great app. My only issue is that my phone is predominantly on dark mode, and when dark mode is on the list of temperaments disappears. This is my only problem.

Needs an update !!

I agree with Duncan! When I turn dark mode off I can see the temperament list. Otherwise it is blank and kind of like a game of pin the tail on the donkey.

Lots of tuning options

This app allows one to tune very precisely! Unfortunately in the newest update the list of temperaments does not show up when your iPhone is in dark screen mode (just a white screen until you guess at one and then it is entered). But it works just fine if one is not in dark screen mode! Must be a font/color issue

Needs an update! Doesn’t talk to the mic on Iphone xs os12.1 ! Love the temperament selections. A small tweak would fix all this. Emailed the admin with no response!

Feedback issues

Tuner appears to feedback with my phone and iPad microphone producing a high pitch piercing feedback sound and does not register the pitch of my instrument

No longer functional

This was a nice and very useful app, but has died of bit rot and is apparently no longer supported. Developer, please consider open sourcing if you are not able to maintain it? It’s a nice piece of work and deserves better.

Have been using for years, now has bad feedback problem

I loved this app for tuning my harpsichord, but it is now broken by some sort of feedback issue with the microphone. I would pay money for this if it were fixed.

Not for iPad Pro?

This looks great on the surface,lots of temperamental choice,only thing is the app doesn’t access the microphone on the iPad Pro;at least I think that’s what’s going on,can’t be sure and after 2 weeks of emailing developer there’s no response so who knows? Anyway fact is it doesnt work except as a pitch pipe,shame.[please let me know if I’m wrong....]

Does not work

This app does not work. The tuner is completely nonfunctional on iPhone. No updates are available and the developer website is not available. Total waste of money.

Was great...

This app worked great for me until updating to 12.1. Now, the tuner does not work. Only the pitch pipe works. I tried restarting my phone, and even reinstalling the app. Before this update, I loved how this app made tuning the harpsichord such a breeze. Setting temperaments makes the music come to life! Please update ASAP.

Perfect!

As someone who tunes professionally for a living, this app is a godsend for harpsichords and clavichord Tuning. Generally I tune by fork and I can do many historic temperaments that way, but with the pitch pipe on this; it is a whole new level with so many more options. Love this app! And let me just also note: the interface is so easy to use. Perfection all the way around.

Buon accordatore

L'applicazione funziona bene e sembra rilevare con precisione L'altezza delle note. Molto ricca la lista dei temperamenti con anche tre temperamenti per il pianoforte. Purtroppo per utilizzarla bisogna disattivare nelle impostazioni dell'IPhone il blocco automatico dello schermo per evitare di dover sbloccare in continuazione il telefono mentre si accorda.

Non sembra funzionare l'accordatore

Non sembra funzionare l'accordatore, rileva il suono ma non segnala se ė ben accordato. Oppure il funzionamento è non immediato e oscuro, ma non ci sono help di aiuto. Ha molti temperamenti antichi ma pare inutilizzabile. Eppure non è certo gratuita!

Terrible! What a rip-off!

This is a joke! It does not give you the difference between sharps and flats in the scales, for the comparison purposes, and the tone quality is cheap and distorted. Actually, the entire design of this application is cheap and overly simplistic. When dealing with different temperaments, you must consider all flats, sharps, double-flats, and double-sharps within each system scale, even for comparison purposes. I don't understand why on earth there is not a single professional music app in the world! Are we becoming culture-less in today's society?
