What's New in Welly Metro
2.0
September 14, 2026
• Live Activities & Dynamic Island — track your next bus live on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, with a "Due" state that auto-ends. • Redesigned Apple Watch app — now standalone, with a favourites-focused home screen showing your next departures, real stop names, and a departure-time complication. • Modern widgets & complications — rebuilt on WidgetKit and App Intents; they no longer show buses that have already left, and can filter to your favourite routes. • Live route data — departures and routes now come from the live Metlink API instead of bundled data.
