Handy & helpful!
I’ve really enjoyed having this app that comes loaded with the basics in Welsh (common phrases and words and such) and the audio feature that allows you to HEAR how it’s supposed to be pronounced is so incredibly helpful. The new update is great that I can put it on my computer now plus the addition of the Lord’s Prayer and I like the practice feature (like flash cards) but the audio no longer works for my phone (it works fine on my computer). Hopefully that bug will be fixed soon but it’s still such a great little app! Not too overwhelming, just a handy app to have in your pocket for when you want or need it.

Very very basic
This is essentially just an app of elementary Welsh vocabulary so that you tap a word and hear the pronunciation. There aren't really "lessons," just groups of words organized by category. In many cases, the pronunciations are too fast to really hear them properly. No grammar element whatsoever, just a list of verbs and common phrases. If you are looking for a very basic intro to the language, then maybe this is for you. If you already have even some understanding of the Welsh language, I think you'll be disappointed as I am.

This app is fantastic for helping to learn basic welsh, having a clear voice saying the words is really helpful. Being a non welsh speaking welsh girl, this app is giving me a lot of confidence in my ability to have a small conversation in welsh.

Just bought this and it doesn't work :(
Works great for me
Downloaded on to iPhone 5 running iOS 6, to iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1 and to iPad 2 running iOS 6.1 - all are working fine.
Update useless
Just updated and now it doesn't work at all -click on the icon and it bombs out. Reinstalled and that doesn't work either.

Doesn't work
I've just downloaded this app and the voice/pronounciation function isn't working. I need to learn how to pronounce the text, hence the reason for buying the app.
Rather stilted introduction to South-Wales Welsh
A nice little app on the whole, but many of the Welsh phrases are rather stilted and don't reflect what a native speaker would really say. It's also worth adding that the app is very much biased towards South-Wales Welsh. It would be nice if you could choose between North- and South-Wales Welsh. The major disappointment is the stiltedness, however.

Welsh Lessons
One of my fave apps until the update- now it crashes as soon as you try to open it. Come on guys- fix it!

I just purchased this app and it won't open. Tap on it and it just flashes the first page, then is gone. I only have the joy if the icon.

As always a good app is taken down with an update. It no longer starts just crashes. Reported it as soon as I updated (a few weeks now) and no response or fix. Please sort it.
