New version keeps crashing :-/

v2.1.16, 06 Aug '16:
It is actually a brilliant app, but the new version only stays running for a few seconds before crashing, hence the 1-star rating to draw attention. Please fix!

Oh, and the Liechtenstein data update is faulty, and will not install :-/

v2.1.3, 24 Dec '15: "A great app that just keeps getting better!", 5*
As the title says, it is a really invaluable app for travelling around Zürich, Basel, St Gallen, Liechtenstein and now Fribourg. I wish that every cantonal transport authority would provide their data to Netcetera for inclusion in Wemlin: I feel totally lost without it! Cannot praise it highly enough. And soon, apparently, you will be able to link to a companion app through which you will be able to purchase tickets. Bye bye unreliable SBB app!

v2.0, 5 Sep '12: 5 stars, "Great app. Finally keeps its data files! Back to five stars"
FINALLY the problem of Wemlin losing its data files has been fixed, and finally it becomes usable again without me having to check that it still works before I leave the house (i.e. range of my WLAN). And now we have St Gallen timetables as well: it gets better and better!

v 1.4.2, 15 Oct '11: 2*
This was a great app even when it was only Zürich Zone 10 with the timetable hard-coded into the app. Extending it to the whole of the ZVV region was a great bonus and separating out the timetables was a big improvement and smart move, as it meant that the timetables could be updated on the fly.

However, the app keeps losing its data, so that every few weeks I have to reload the 6.x MB ZVV data file again. REALLY annoying!

Last year I worked in Basel and felt crippled without my Wemlin, or seemingly any equivalent for Basel. I did ask if Netcetera could bring BLT into the fold, and offered to beta-test, but nothing ever came of it. But now I'm back in Zürich again, so it's no longer so important to me, but please please please fix the problem of it losing its data!

Great travel tool even with no Internet

For a tourist in Zurich, this app is great. You dont need a data plan - just a phone equipped with GPS. It uses the free GPS signal to figure out which transport stops you are close to, and then uses a database to figure out when buses, trams, etc are coming. You can then trace out a route, switching lines, Eric. So if you don't have a data plan, but want real travel time information, this is for you. You would still need a map of the city streets in order to find addresses. This app is for finding your way when you know the route you are going.

Great app!

This was so helpful in traveling around the city. Even without wifi or a cell plan, it could still tell us the closest stations and would update the departure times. Thanks!

Keine Wegplanung. Sonst Top.

... Ohne Wegplanung nur bedingt hilfreich.

Very good, with limitations.

Great for iPod as it works offline. Idea simple but information very detailed -shows all departures from a stop and easily links on to departures at locations along the route. Does not route to destination. It is intended as an "on the way" app but unfortunately only shows departures for the next half hour. So bad luck if your trip lasts longer than that, eg if coming into Zurich from Luzern...you would have to change the clock for the whole device which gets messy, so two stars off. Also hangs if you start it with the screen on station search, have to go to another screen to get it going.
