An excellent resource
This really accelerated our understanding of the complexities of our bucket-list trip. My fave feature was the calendar with the visuals on how favourable the tide times were - this was invaluable to selecting our dates!!!!!!!

We just finished the trail a couple days ago. This app, specifically the pro version, was incredibly valuable. I would give 10 stars if I could. The offline mapping, the route information, the tide charts..it’s all there. Very well done and appreciated.

Upgrading to the Pro version of the West Coast Trail app was one of the best decisions we made for our trip. The extensive detail and the ability to use it offline were absolutely critical to our success on the trail. Having reliable, consolidated information at our fingertips—tides, weather, obstacles, and challenges—helped us plan confidently and stay safe. The added historical context was a wonderful bonus that made the journey even more meaningful. Easy planning
This app brings all the info you need together in one place in an easy to navigate format. The only thing it’s missing is elevation gain (ascent) for the beach and forest routes between campsites.

This app covers everything you need to know. Water sources, tides, ladders (counted) and where you can see ship wrecks. No complaints and it’s refreshing to have something free for a change. No strings attached.

Have really loved all the info and access to organizing the trip ahead. We haven’t done the trail yet-on our way now! So haven’t got the on-the-ground feedback yet. I have the upgraded version so we can use it offline and looking forward to having that.
Complete wct guide
This app covers possibly every question you have to do wct from tides to water to camp and all. Being a first timer for wct I feel already familiar with the trail all thanks to this wonderful app
Extremely useful!
I’m very glad that I had this app and paid the $20 for offline access. It was an extremely useful resource while on the trail. I would read about the next day before I went to bed each night and it thoroughly prepared me for what was ahead. Having the tide schedule as well as sunrise/sunset was super handy.
Props to the author of this app. Clearly a lot of love went into this and they must have a deep passion for the WCT!
