Westbury Teachers Association

The Westbury Teachers Association app is the private home for WTA members. It is invite only. Only members the association invites can get in; nothing is public, and nothing is indexed by search engines. Contracts and documents The contract, memoranda of agreement, meeting minutes, and association forms are in one searchable place, organized into categories. Search finds words inside documents, including scanned pages, so you can look up a clause without scrolling through a PDF on your phone at a faculty meeting. Announcements you actually receive Association news arrives as a notification on your phone and as an email, so you are not relying on a group chat or a bulletin board in a building you were not in that day. You can see what is new at a glance, and older announcements stay searchable. Voting Ratification votes and officer elections run in the app, open for days rather than for the length of one meeting. Your ballot is anonymous by design: the association can confirm that an eligible member voted without being able to see how you voted. After you vote, you get a receipt you can check yourself against the published record, so a close result can be verified rather than argued about. Calendar Association meetings, deadlines, and events, with RSVPs. You can subscribe to the calendar from the calendar app you already use, so WTA dates appear alongside everything else. Chat and polls Message other members or a committee directly. Quick polls when the association wants a read on the room without running a formal vote. Member directory Find another member, see who holds which officer role, and contact them. Getting in You need an invitation from the association. If you are a WTA member and have not received one, contact your building representative or an association officer. There is no public sign up. Your information stays with the association. The app is not advertising supported, does not sell data, and does not track you across other apps.
