Time Will Tell
If you’re willing to step into a world that you may consider totally unfamiliar to your normal daily activities and would enjoy an immersive journey in to the historical and modern life of the Cowboy, sign up for the next enjoyable ride at The National Poetry Gathering (and/or one close to where you live). We were invited in 2007 and have listened to, walked among, and shaken hands with, and taken photos with the most genuinely friendly folks we’ve ever met. They share and we laugh, get emotional, and even shed a few or more grateful tears to the messages, songs, and true(and sometimes made up) stories of the West. We don’t ride horses and we don’t live on a ranch but we look forward every year to joining good friends we’ve brought with us and those we have met there, for the informative and fun week the we experience every year. They’re up to 40 years going and we hope they continue so our children and theirs can experience the joy we receive there every year. Thank you Cowboy Poets, et al. Kenn & Barb S. Yacolt, WA

Live Programs
Like the Live events where I get notified at my 8pm Salt Lake City start time always gives me a pleasant evening diversion and brings back my happy times at The Gathering in February.
Hal Cannon’s “Why the Cowboy Sings” was excellent!

This is the real deal!
This is the most interesting and compelling TV I’ve watched in a long time. Good work, Western Folklife Center!
Cowboy Poetry and songs
I just love this app. There’s such a variety of cowboy poetry and music that spans over 40 years. It’s quite impressive and definitely fun to watch!
